Happiness glowed inside me that I couldn't conceal my delight. I can't help but smile after what happened. We faced everyone and they were cheering for us like it was something worth celebrating for. The host was shocked, as well as my parents. They didn't expect that, no one did.
"Thank you so much for coming here! I'm so grateful to all of you for making time coming into this event. I hope you guys had a fun night because I did." I chuckled shyly. "I would like to thank my Mom for organizing this event, she made a lot of effort para lang matuloy 'to." I looked for my Mom and smiled. She gave me thumbs up and I continued speaking. "Thank you to my friends for all the support and love I'm receiving until now, you guys are the best!" I looked over Gab and my other friends sitting in front.
I looked at Jay beside me and he held my hand, "Thank you to Jay for letting me see my dad and making my wish come true. I am forever grateful to have to. I love you so much." I turned back to my guests and said, "Mahal ko kayong lahat! Thank you!" I ended the speech with a smile. I went down the stage to take some pictures with everyone. I also called my parents to take a picture with me. Tonight is so unforgettable, hindi ata ako makakatulog kaka-rewind sa mga nangyari.
My dad was again fetched by the police officers after the event. I was crying so hard when I saw him entering the police car, hiniram nga lang pala namin siya. He was trying not to tear up and waved his goodbye at me. I saw the car slowly driving away. My mom and Jay were beside me caressing my back.
"You'll be with him soon, okay? I'll take care of the papers para makalaya na siya." Jay looked at me, worrying.
"Hey, thank you but you don't have to do that...lalong magagalit mommy mo sa 'kin." I said, wiping my tears off my face.
"Hatid ko na po kayo, tita." pag aalok ni Jay sa 'min ni Mommy.
"Si Cali nalang pasabayin mo sa'yo. May dala rin kasi akong kotse." my mom chuckled before entering her car.
It was a smooth ride and we made it right in front of our house. My relatives went back to their place already right after the event. I went down the car slowly and hugged him right away after I saw him in front of me. He pulled me tighter, holding the back of my head.
"Thank you so much, love. You never know how happy I am. You made me so happy I swear! I really thought you wouldn't come..." I rested my head on his chest while he's stroking the back of my head.
