Seeing my baby cry is the hardest thing for me to watch. Siguro ganoon talaga 'no? Kapag Mahal mo 'yung tao, kahit kagatin lang siya ng lamok mag aalala ka, kasi as much as possible ayaw mo siyang makitang nasasaktan. Mahal na mahal kita, Cali.
Even if her dad caused me something traumatizing, I still respect him kase he's Cali's dad. Alam ko kung gaano siya ka-importante kay Cali so for her birthday I decided to fetch her father para naman maging memorable ang party niya. I just want her to be happy every single day.
"Chief, pahiram muna kay Mr. Alvarez." I told the policeman as I entered the precint.
"Ibabalik din yan mamaya, ha? Sige na, ilabas si Alvarez." Para akong nag pick-up ng bata sa playhouse, eh. May time limit ampupu.
"Happy Birthday, Baby..." I swept her hair off her face and kissed her again. I can see in her eyes that she's really happy noong nakita niya ang daddy niya dito sa party. Hay, sarap mabuhay kapag masaya 'yung taong mahal mo.
Buong araw nagpasalamat si Cali sa 'kin. Grabe talaga siya mag appreciate, hays. Walang wala pa 'to sa kaya kong ibigay sa'yo, Cal. Please stay with me until the end, ha?
Days passed by and naging hectic ang schedule ko. Bihira na kami magkita ni Cal and I super miss her already. I am trying my best to make time for her kasi my Mom is really strict sa rehearsals ngayon kasi malapit na ang recitals.
"Ma, please let me see her this weekend. Just this weekend, Mom please." I keep on asking permission from my Mom para makita ko na si Cal but she's really not allowing me.
"Seriously? Uunahin mo pa yang girlfriend mo? Hindi kita pinayagang mag girlfriend para kalimutan mo mga responsibilities mo, Jay. Baka nakakalimutan mo dito nakasalalay ang college mo. You have to obey us or else we'll take you abroad. You choose." I let out a deep sigh and went back to my seat. Cali was texting me already asking me if what I'm up to.
