Finally, it's Saturday. Nagising ako ng maaga dahil nasanay ako na maaga nagigising because of school. I checked my phone to see if there are any notifications.

Keane sent you a message.

"Good morning :)"

He texted me around 4 AM. I think he pulled an all nighter again. Last night felt so unreal. We're not yet in a relationship but I'm happy with this kind of set up. Atleast I know what he feels.

I texted him back and told him to eat his breakfast. He replied in an instant saying he doesn't eat breakfast, he just wants to greet me a good morning.

I went down to the kitchen and prepared a breakfast for me and my mom. I cooked an omelette and fried some bacon together with the rice. I also fried some spam and egg. Magaling akong magluto 'no. You can let me fry anything.

I checked on my mom to see if she's still sleeping. She should be awake by now. I visited her room and saw that she doesn't have sleeping pills anymore. She really can't sleep at night, she's having a hard time. I didn't wake her up and just covered the food on the table.

I went outside the house and tried to jog to start my day right. I put on some earphones and played my playlist while jogging. It was almost 8 AM when I went back to the house and I saw my mom eating the food I prepared.

"Where have you been?" She asked while getting a spoonful of rice.

"Nag jogging lang po. How's the food?" I asked her while removing the earphones.

"Okay lang, you almost burned the spam."

"I'm sorry haha." I chuckled. "I really like spam if it's sunog na. Mas masarap! You should try."

"Sorry nak, I'm not a fan hahaha." She laughed while pouring herself a glass of water.

"Do you have plans today?" She asked.

I shook my head and said, "Uh...wala pa naman. Why? Do you wanna go somewhere?"

"I want to eat some ramen and takoyaki, nak. Also, let's go shopping today!" Same thought.

"Uh, okay. Lemme just take a shower." I quickly took a shower and prepped for a mother and daughter date. I just wore a ripped jeans topped with a black tee and a utility jacket. I paired it with my all time favorite, Converse.

First, we went to the spa to get a massage and our nails done. Then we visited some clothing brands to check if they have new release. I would usually buy a lot whenever I'm in the mall but when I'm with my mom, I can't spend too much.

We entered a Japanese restaurant and ordered a food when I receieved a text from Gab.

"Will be picking you up in a few hours. Pack lightly!" Pack? Packing shet.

"Mom what's the date today?" I hurriedly asked my mom.

"December 18, why?" She looked worried.

Shit. Today's our flight to Hongkong. Bakit ba hindi ko naalala?

"I uh...Gab gave me this plane ticket when we had our exchange gift and that's a round trip to Hongkong. I'm sorry I wasn't able to tell you earlier, Ma. I totally forgot I swear!" I panicked.
