Chapter 14

My period is late. A few days late actually. I'm pregnant.
"Alexandra!" I called.
"Yeah," she said.
"I'm pregnant," she stared at me.
"What? are you sure?" I shook my head.
"Take me to the hospital please." I said. She nodded.

She helped me to the hospital. Maria smiled when she saw us.
"Maria can you give her a pregnancy test." Maria nodded slowly. I was taken into the same hospital room I was in when I was in a coma. I swallowed as Maria shut the down.

"She's pregnant." Maria said. I felt panic take over me. I was pregnant. I had a baby inside me. I started crying. Jayden came in then. He stared at me. I looked up at him. He stared at my stomach.
"Why was she so weak?" Jayden asked.
"I'm not sure I think we should do some more tests." Maria said.

Jayden's fist were clenched. His knuckles were going white. I couldn't look at him. Was he going to leave me? Was he going to reject me? I held my stomach tears slipping down my cheeks. I couldn't bring myself to be annoyed or unhappy about being pregnant. I was scared but happy. I wanted this child now that it was growing inside me.

Jayden walked out and slammed the door. Maria gave me a troubled look then left. It was just Alexandra and me. She came to the side of my bed and held my hand. I looked up at her.
"I'll be with you through this even if that idiot isn't." Alexandra said.
"Thank you." I said. Alexandra sighed.
"I have to tell you something."
"What?" she looked down at my stomach.
"Marc rejected me." Alexandra said.
"He did what?" I yelled.
"He rejected me," her eyes were watering. I wiped her tears. I never thought that Marc would do something like this.
"Why?" I said. I was growing angry.
"I'm on the same boat as you," she held her stomach.
"Oh my god." I said. "How long?" I asked.
"Only a week. I found out a few days ago and told him he rejected me. He told me he wasn't ready to be a dad and he blamed me for this." Alexandra's voice broke. I growled and got up.

I barged through the door Marc was talking to Jayden. I slammed Marc into the wall.
"HOW DARE YOU. YOU REJECTED HER! YOU REJECTED HER BECAUSE SHE WAS CARRYING YOUR BABY! YOURS!" I screamed in his face. Terror was written all over it. Jayden grabbed me.
"Let me go." I shoved him off me. He growled as I walked back to my hospital bedroom.
"God." Marc said. I turned and punched him right in the jaw. He flew back.

I slammed the door and sat on my bed. Alexandra stared at me. I hugged her.
"We could leave you know." I said. "We could run from it all. We don't need them." Alexandra considered this.
"No. Jayden hasn't rejected you. No and we're both pregnant and what about Lyra?" Lyra. I sighed.
"Jayden will reject me I know it and as for Lyra I don't know I'm not making her become a rogue. Maybe we could find a new pack but I won't drag her into the woods. I suppose we'll have to leave her here." I said.

Alexandra smiled a bit then shook her head.
"You're the Luna Roseanne."
"So when he rejects me he can find some other slut to fill my shoes I don't care. What has this pack even done for us?" I said.
"I see your point but please wait if Jayden rejects you I'll think about it." Alexandra said.

I knew he would reject me out of fear. Out of pride. He was young he didn't want to be a dad. He was Alpha. He could have any other girl at his feet but losing me would be hard for him. The coma proved that but I didn't care. Jayden stormed into the room.
"Apologise to Marc," he demanded.
"No. He's a pig." I said.
"Now!" he used his Alpha voice in me.
"I'm the Luna you can't order me around but I will apologise to you. I'm sorry OK. I'M SORRY FOR WHATEVER I DUD TO YOU TO MAKE YOU HATE ME!" I said. He just stared at me then left.

I started crying then. I could just reject him. I wanted to but a small bit of me still needed him desperately. No I don't need him. I told myself. I put my hand on my stomach. I would reject him then Alexandra and I would leave. Lyra. What would I do about her? She was eleven she was strong she could come with us.
"I'm rejecting him." I said. "I'm taking Lyra with me she's not a baby anymore." I said.
"OK I'll go get her." Alexandra said. "What's up?"
"We're leaving." I said.
"Why?" Lyra said.
"Alexandra and I are pregnant and our mates aren't very happy." I said.
"Stop talking to me like I'm a baby." Lyra snapped.
"Sorry Lyra I mean you know... we have to leave." Lyra shrugged.
"Fine. I hate Jayden and Marc and this pack anyway so yes let's leave." I smiled. Good she was OK with this.
