Twenty Eight

"Hala baliw! Okay lang 'yun! Ano ba, mas importante 'yang paa mo. Mag co-commute nalang ako, madali lang 'yun huwag ka nang mag-alala." I said and smiled back at him. Hmm, ihatid ko nalang kaya siya sakanila? I thought to myself.

"Actually Liam.." he turned around and asked me why. "Can I drive you home?" I asked him.

"I am already home. You are my home, Cali." he smiled sweetly. Pucha, ano ba 'yan.

"Gago daming banat, eh. I mean your real home, sa bahay niyo with your parents..ganon." 

"You know how to drive?" he asked, giving me a shocking face.

"Yeah, parking lang hindi but I can make it slowly but surely." I laughed a bit.

"Baka hanapin ka ni Kuya Alex, malelate ka ng uwi." 

"No it's okay, I'll use your car and commute nalang pauwi sa'min. I'm cool with that." i said to ease his worries.

"No, use my car and drive it home sainyo. I'll just pick it up tomorrow since sinusundo naman kita lagi." he said.

"Gago sandali! Alam ko na. Tables have turned so ako naman susundo at maghahatid sa'yo hanggang sa gumaling ka. Is that okay?" I asked him excitingly.

"Uh, I want that but I don't want you getting tired. Ayokong mag-cause ng trouble sa'yo, Cal." he is looking at me seriously.

"Pay back lang 'to Liam, saka ka na ulit gumawa ng favor sa 'kin 'pag okay ka na. Let me take care of you muna." I smiled and fixed my things already.

We went to the parking lot and I entered the driver's seat. I opened the shotgun and assisted him in entering inside. "Ready ka na?" I asked, while looking at him waiting for his response.

"Ready na ako mamatay kasama ka." I rolled my eyes at him and started the engine.

"Magtiwala ka sa'kin, hindi ko hahayaang mamatay ang sarili ko." 

"Sarili mo lang? Selfish kang hayop ka, willing akong sumama sa'yo sa kamatayan tapos ikaw sarili mo lang?" I was driving seriously while we're talking. I told him to stop talking kasi baka may mabunggo ako.

He taught me the directions and we finally made it to their house. Their house is pretty nice, huh. Mukhang neat and minimal but I like it, it looks classy. "Baba ka muna, papakilala kita." He said, before opening the car door.

"Saka na, kapag tumagal na tayo. Papakilala mo tapos mag bebreak din naman."

I saw him laughing and said, "Kilala ka na naman nila, hindi palang name-meet personally. Saka na kapag girlfriend na kita." He chuckled and I told him I should leave already. I heard him talking to his car bago siya tuluyang pumasok sa bahay nila.

"Ingatan mo 'yan si Cali, kapag napahamak 'yan ibebenta kita." I smiled at what I heard then he tapped the car as a sign that i should leave. I waved at him and he did the same. I even heard him shouting "Ingat". He is really an ideal man but I wtill need to fix my mind sa kakaisip kay Jay. 

I finally made it home and saw them eating already. I excused myself and told them I need to get ready. I went to the shower to freshen up. When I went out of the bathroom, my phone beeped and I saw there was a missed call. Unkown number eh. I tried calling back but hindi na nagrespond. I just sent the number a text message incase tumawag siya ulit. Sino kaya 'yun?

I did my skin care and Liam sent me text messages before ako nahiga sa bed. I rested my eyes and my mind because tomorrow is another busy day and I still have to fetch Liam before going to school. I was already closing my eyes when my phone rang again. When I stood up to pick the call, the called ended it. Sino ba kasi 'yun?
