I was just watching them when Liam fell at nagsimula na silang magkumpulan. I ran towards them and asked them what happened, sabi nila Kai nabunggo raw siya noong isa nilang kasama sa game.
"Shit, sino ba 'yun? Hindi kasi nag-iingat eh." I said out of irritation. "Dalhin niyo nga sa clinic baka nabalian na 'yan ng buto." I commanded his other teammates. I was just behind them while they're on their way to the clinic.
"Uh, Cali, you should stay outside muna kasi I have to check him if he has any sprains or any fractures." The nurse said, may gusto 'to kay Liam, eh. Feel ko lang, lagi kasing nakaabang kapag may laro sila. I was about to leave when I heard Liam coughing parang may sinisignal.
He mouthed "Dito ka lang." without any sound so the nurse wouldn't hear. I told him what should I say in order for me to stay inside. He said I should just make up stories and tell an alibi.
"Uh, nurse? Our adviser said I should keep an eye on him plus I am the school president so it is my duty and responsibility to watch out for my fellow students." I bravely said. The nurse looks like she's in awe when she heard my statement. I'm sorry, just for Liam.
"Oh, okay." The nurse said and I went inside then sat down the chair in front of his bed. The nurse checked his body and his temperature as well. I can see that Liam's becoming uncomfortable whenever the nurse touches him so I stood up and held his hand.
"Gago buti nakaisip ka ng alibi, natatakot talaga ako do'n eh, baka kung anong gawin sa 'kin." pag susumbong ni Liam pagkalabas namin ng clinic. Parang batang nagsusumbong sa nanay eh.
"Hindi ka kasi nagiingat tanga ka. Kalaki na eh nahulog pa." I said.
"Kasalanan ko ba kung nahulog ako-?"
"Oo."
