MADDIE, AFTER BEING IN AND OUT OF NEW ORLEANS HER WHOLE LIFE AND LIVING IN IT FOR A WEEK, she knew all about the infamous Fight Night. You didn't need to be friends with Marcel in order to know about the activities that go on in the city, there were whispers that travelled around. And when you work in the best bar in the city, people tend to talk when they're drunk.
Nevertheless, Madeline Petrova, Niklaus Mikaelson, Elijah Mikaelson, Isaac Lahey and Allison Argent were standing around the compound to interrogate Marcel Gerard. This plan wasn't as thought out as their usual ones, and that was because they didn't have time to come up with one.
But that didn't mean Maddie didn't have a fairly good plan. Scott and Stiles were back at the plantation, the boys were trying to pick up on either Malia or Hayley's scent while Lydia was on her way to the church to visit Davina.
In the courtyard of the compound, hundreds of vampires congregated into a crowd as they talked to each other, amongst the group were Maddie, Isaac and Allison. Blood and alcohol filled the air with the scent of sweat and Maddie couldn't help but scowl as she thought about the amount of times she'd have to wash her outfit before the smell came off. Marcel appeared on the balcony, looking down amongst the group, catching everyone's attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Fight Night! And, the first rule of Fight Night is: The vampire left standing at the end of the night is one step closer to the inner circle, and one of these, a daylight ring." Marcel explained as he held up a hand, showing off his own in example.
"If you can impress me with a little ultra-violence, you too can enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. All you got to do is kick a little ass. Here we go!" Marcel started off and the vampires formed a circle as they waited for the announcement to find out who was competing. "Our first two contenders: Felicia and Otto!"
Felicia and Otto got in the circle, as the rest of the vampires cheered them on and Maddie rolled her eyes. Vampires these days lacked any sort of class apparently, and it showed with these lots of hooligans who fought for things so simple as daylight rings. At one point it appeared that Otto has the upper-hand, but ultimately Felicia won the fight, wrapping her legs around Otto's neck and twisting, snapping his neck and leaving him tempted dead.
Isaac turned to Maddie with a raised eyebrow, seemingly disappointed in the results. He really believed it was going to be more climactic, a little blood and gore and then eventual death that actually left them dead. But he was left with hopeless scenarios and disappointment.
Allison, seemed more fascinated in opposed to disappointed. The only vampires she had met were Maddie, Caroline, Stefan and Kol, and all four of them seemed to hold a lot more...class. She expected all vampires to hold poise and grace, as well as the occasional poise they had when they killed. At yet, here she was in a literal fight club for vampires as they fought over something so simple as a ring.
