MADELINE PETROVA WAS ALMOST ASTONISHED AT HOW PRACTICALLY NOTHING HAD HAPPENED WHILE SHE WAS AWAY. She was also surprised when she showed up outside some random house, only to see Sheriff Stilinski, Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski, standing outside.

"What the fuck is going on and why are we in the middle of the woods?" Maddie questioned making the three males jump in surprise. Sheriff Stilinski looked at the girl with wide eyes before turning to his son. "You said she was in New Orleans!" He exclaimed in a hushed tone, causing his son to scratch the back of his neck.

"She was. She just teleported back." Stiles stated only for the Sheriff to raise his eyebrows. "I thought you told me she was a werewolf!" He then exclaimed and Stiles made a face. "Well, actually, I told you she was a Hybrid." Stiles stated and the Sheriff gave him an even more exasperated look causing Maddie to sigh.

"Actually, I'm the Petrova Hybrid. I'm pretty much all supernatural creatures, but I'll keep it simple and name my main three. I'm a Werewolf, Vampire and Witch. Hence how I teleported from New Orleans." Madeline stated before walking closer with her arms crossed.

"So, what the hell is going on. I know this isn't about the...current situation in the pack because, well, you're not in a library, and the Sheriff is here." Maddie started, pointing to the older man before looking at the letter box and raising an eyebrow.

"So, I'm assuming you two are doing something for the Sheriff. We're here at the Tate house, which means your following up Malia Tate's disappearance. Klaus made his life mission to make me read up on animal attacks in Beacon Hills before I even moved here. Malia has been missing for eight odd years, why now are you coming back to it?" Maddie questioned and seeing the shocked look on all their faces, she watched closely as the Sheriff went from a surprised look to a sigh.

"Because, I just thought I'd use my new found knowledge on the supernatural to solve what I believed was the unsolvable." Sheriff stated, but Maddie heard the slight jump of his heartbeat. Scott, apparently not listening, shrugged it off and the boys nodded.

Stiles turned to Maddie with a grin. "Well, now that you're here, you can help. We're going to try get a hold of Malia's scent. To try and track her." Stiles explained and Maddie nodded, watching as the boys turned to walk back to the Jeep to grab something.

Maddie, taking their distraction as a chance to talk to the Sheriff, turned to the man. "You told them it was to just solve the case with your new found knowledge, but your heart jumped. There's another reason. How badly do you need to solve this?" Maddie whispered and the older man frowned.

"If I can't solve this...I might lose my job as the Sheriff." Sheriff Stilinski stated, making Maddie look at him with concern. "I'll do what I can." Maddie promised. She then turned to her boys, her eyebrow raised. "What's the plan?"
