MADELINE GILBERT PETROVA THOUGHT SHE HAD NEVER FELT MORE CONFUSED AND SURPRISED THAN WHEN SHE FOUND OUT SHE WAS PREGNANT. That was, until she found out Hayley Marshall was pregnant....with Niklaus Mikaelson's child.

"No. It's impossible." Klaus denied, but Elijah wasn't having it. "I said the same thing myself." Elijah cut in but Maddie already knew there was no reasoning with Klaus, as he was enraged and paranoid, which usually meant someone is going to get hurt.

"This is a lie, you're all lying. Vampires can not procreate." Klaus stated and Maddie just stayed quiet as a witch, Sophie, stepped forward. "But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf." Sophie stated causing the Mikaelson Hybrid to turn to her.

"You're the Original Hybrid, the first of your kind, and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes." Sophie explained and Maddie let out a loud laugh, causing everyone to look at her as she looked at Klaus.

"So I guess both our werewolf sides screwed us over." Maddie mused at the Mikaelson Hybrid as he shook his head, turning to Hayley. "You've been with someone else, admit it!" Klaus yelled at the Pregnant werewolf as he stormed towards her but he didn't get very far as both Maddie and Elijah pushed him back by his shoulders.

"Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freaking alligator bayou because they think I'm carrying some magical miracle baby. Don't you think I would've fessed up if it wasn't yours?" Hayley snapped back and Maddie grinned as she let go of Klaus's shoulder.

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them safe...or we can kill them." Sophie stated and Maddie raised her eyebrows at them.

"If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." Sophie threatened causing both Elijah and Hayley to shoot up at this statement. "Wait, what?" Hayley asked, obvious fear laced through her voice.

"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Elijah tried to sway the witch, but she wasn't having it.

"No, we can't, not yet. There is a clear plan we need to follow and there are rules." Sophie stated and Maddie couldn't help but narrow her eyes.

She remembered Elijah telling her that Sophie was a vengeful with with "nothing to lose", but although she was a great actress, not even she could stop the taint of need in her voice and Maddie seemed to be the only one who was picking up on it.

Maddie knew the tough and fearless act like the back of her hand and she knew it was usually used when family was on the line.

"How dare you command me, threaten me with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses? This is a pathetic deception. I won't hear any more lies." Klaus spat, turning to walk away when his older brother stopped him.
