A Birthday
Today is a very exciting day.
It’s going to be special in every way.
Spend the day with family and friends.
The happiness will never end.
Have your favorite food, maybe fish or a steak,
And then you will get a birthday cake.
Then open the presents of all different kinds,
The ones that are colored in neat little lines.
Time to play some party games.
Everyone’s laughing and shouting out names.
Soon this party must come to an end.
It’s time to say bye to family and friends.
This party has been so very great.
We should do this again on another date!
