The busy week is finally done,
It’s time to relax and have some fun.
Spend some time sleeping in,
It’s time for the weekend to begin.
See your family, go out with friends.
Hurry, before the weekend ends!
No homework or studying to do,
Now you have some time for you!
Go lie down or watch a show.
Have a talk with someone you know.
Listen to music, read a book,
Or maybe go to the kitchen and cook.
The weather’s warm, the sun is out,
So run outside and jump and shout!
