To New York

Chapter 31

"Okay, but let me know when you land so I can know you're safe." she opened the door for us and we dragged our suitcases to the car.

"I will, bye Rose " Leonardo said after he was done loading the truck with all our belongings. We got into the car and waved goodbye before driving off.  The car ride was silent but it wasn't the awkward silence, I was just hungry and a little bit pissed at the comment he made earlier. I went from app to app on my phone until we pulled up at a Starbucks drive thru. I got my regular and a caramel latte.

"Here's yo- Oh my God ! You're Leonardo Reigns, hey " a very attractive girl said sticking her upper body out of the window while handing Leonardo our orders. Her huge, obviously fake breasts were on full display, all up on his face and he loved every second of it.

"Hey tesoro"  my eyes quickly snapped on him, did he just call her what I think he called her ? I took my food out of his grip and jumped to the back seat.

"Aman-" the girl cut him off by grabbing his chin and made him face her.

"Can I get the tip ? "   she flirted with him as she ran her long, pointy nails down his face to his neck. Cars behind us started honking but I must have been the only one who heard them because they didn't seem bothered.

"Maybe next time sweetheart, it was pleasant to meet you though." he said giving her one of his dimple smiles causing her to giggles, how far was New York from Russia? I'm going by foot. 

" Here, take this. Call me whenever you can handsome" she wrote her number down on a napkin and dropped it on his lap. I wanted to gagg at how desperate she was.

"I'll make sure to put this to use " Leonardo said before winking at her and driving out of Starbucks.

"Why are you all the way in the back ? " he asked when we joined the highway . I ignored him and drank my drink while scrolling through Instagram, he smacked his teeth and continued to drive to wherever he was going.

Within an hour we arrived in front of Restaurant ,he drove to the back exit . It was still morning but the sky was dark due to rain clouds.

"I can't leave you in the car so you're coming with m-" I cut him off

"Do I have to ?" I asked before rolling my eyes

"Yes and next time don't cut me off when I-" I scoffed cutting him off again

"Ah ! Now you know how it fe- okay, I'm sorry " I said before crossing my arms and facing the window.

"As I was saying, I'm taking you with me but you'll have to do exactly what I tell you to do. Are we clear ?" I nodded still looking away from him.

"I need words Amanda" he said turning on his seat to look at me.

"I heard you." I said before glaring at him.

"Good, let's go" he unlocked the doors and we both got out of the car. I walked behind his tall figure as he led the way. When we reached the big, black metal door, he knocked three times before whistling. I looked at him puzzled before the door opened and Leonardo put me in front before we walked into the dimly lit room.

" Von " the man by the door said giving Leonardo a head nod. Leonardo gave him a simple head nod.

"Who's Van ?" I whispered to Leonardo
