Depression is like drowning. Everyone is gonna tell you to say afloat but you can't because there's so much beneath the surface trying to pull you down that they can't see.
When you're underwater, instead of helping you, they're gonna tell you it's your fault, that you could've stayed afloat and are going to tell you to breathe. They can't see that you'll only inhale water.
You try to protect yourself so you let yourself drown. They're gonna be mad at you and tell you you're selfish. But what they don't know is that you would have died both ways.
