Y/L/N - Your Last Name

“people say that the physical appearance don't matter when it comes to love. but, why do i feel like they're lying?”

Your POV

Hideous.

Disgusting.

Fat.

Useless.

Unworthy.

It goes on and on. It never stops, and it never will.

Looking at the mirror, I grimaced, touching every excess fat and unwanted curves. I was what the society called 'imperfect', and 'overweight'. I was the flawed, I was the scarred, and I was the mistake.

Disappointed, I continued to look at myself in front of my full–length mirror. I weighed eighty kilograms; and no matter how much I tried to lose weight– it felt like I needed to do more. So I did, I lost weights but it never felt enough.

It's not enough

It's still not enough

It's never enough

Sighing, I only took my bag which contained the necessities and walked out of the condominium I've been living in and booked a taxi. While I did so, people who passed me by were either ignoring me or looking at me with pure disgust as they began to talk in hushed tones.

I looked down, ignoring their stares that felt like knives stabbing me. Soon, I heard a beep and looked up; at taxi meeting my gaze. Mentally sighing in relief, I went inside the vehicle and had told him the address.

As I sat down, dizziness have conquered me, my vision began to get blurry and it felt like my head was spinning. I tried to shake it off, my throat felt dry but I tried my best to ignore all of it and straightened my posture; focusing my sight on the road.

~30 Minutes Later~

Author's POV

You sat in front of the first member for the fan meet:

"Hello there! May I know your name?" Jungwoo smiles, looking at you

"I-i'm Y/L/N, Y/N" You croaked out, throat dry and empty

"Oh. Are you okay?" He asks, to which you immediately nodded, smiling

After that, the same happened with the following four, but you denied them as well as you bear a smile. Later on, you came face to face with the sixth person:

"Hi! What's your name?" He asks, glasses on as he smiled warmly

"Y/L/N, Y-Y/N" You whispered, voice too dry

But due to the noise inside the big room, he didn't heard it:

"I'm sorry, but I didn't hear it. What is it, again?" Mark asks, eyebrows furrowed as he observed you

She's so... pale.

"Y/L/N Y/N" You answered, and this time, it was louder than before

Mark nods his head as he turned his attention to your album. But, before he could even sign onto it, his sight drifted over to where his untouched bottle of water was. He looks at you and back at the water bottle.
