Sonakshi enters in the company along with Nitin. Every person greets her morning. She could sense their suspicious gaze on her. Whispering rubbish about her. It was hard for her to ignore it.
Sonakhi other board members gathers in the conference room waiting for the chairman(Bijoy). Sonakshi was extremely anxious, she hide it well but Nitin noticed it. He came to Sanakshi and gave her the glass of water.
Nitin: Everything will be good mam.
Sonakshi nods and drinks the glass of water. Her stepmother, Prema enters in the room and takes the seat exactly in front of Sonakshi.
Sonakshi: Isi ki kami thi.(murmurs)
Prema: Kaisa lag raha hai Ex CEO?
Sonakshi: You better shut your mouth if you don't want to be my dads ex wife. (in bored tone)
Prema: Abhi bhi itna guroor. Mein tumhe wapis ye company lene nahi dungi. Aisha will own the company.
Sonakshi's father then enters everyone stood to greet. Sonakshi frowns.
Sonakshi: Ye yaha pe kyu aye hai.
Vyom walks in and take a seat beside her. She frowns looking sat Vyom raised his eyebrows at her.
Bijoy: So let's start the meeting.
One of the board member: Hum CEO ki post vacant nahi rakh sakte. Miss. Aisha is arrested. Sonakshi is still involved in legal matters. We need a person to lead the company.
Nitin: Miss. Basu, kisi bhi legal matter mein involved nahi hai. Unhe beguna sabit kar diya gaya hai. Aur isiliye wo yaha pe aap sabke saamne hai.
Other board member: Court ki hearing baaki hai. Maybe Aisha is also innocent. Who knows?
Other board member: Exactly, Miss. Sonakshi Basu par ilzaam abhi bhi laga hua hai. Unki market aur business world mein image gir chuki hai. Kal se abhi tak we lost our hundreds of clients. Projects se investors back off hone ki baat kar rahe hai. Agar Miss. Basu ko abhi CEO ki post di, toh company barbaad ho jaayengi.
Everyone in the room whispers
Sonakshi: Gentlemen, mein ye company mein 12 saalo se hu. 9 saalo se CEO hu. Aaj tak mere koi bhi decision ki wajah se company ko loss nahi hua hai. Mere under har ek project successful raha hai. 9 saalo mein Pearl kaha se kaha agaya hai ye hum jaante hai. Ek chote se legal matter ki wajah se kya aap sab meri leading ability pe sawaal uthaoge.
Board member: Miss. Basu, Adiya's world ka jo construction tha wo apne kyu rukwaya?
Sonakshi stays silent.
Other board member: Adiya's world park ki jagah waha startbucks banane ki deal California, humare important client ke saath thi. Suddenly apne deal cancel kar di, jisse company ko 40 crores ka compensation bharna pada.
What was that about?
Vyom eyes widened in shock. He didn't knew that Sonakshi would face 40 crores loss to cancel the deal. Now he came to know why was she not giving up the park.
Sonakshi just takes a deep breath. She didn't knew how to answer this.
Prema laughs.
Prema: See? Sonakshi tum pehle shayad hi achi leader thi. Par ab tum apni wo ability kho chuki ho. You are no more eligible to be the CEO of Pearl. So gentlemen I think humein wait karna chahiye. I am sure Aisha Basu will be back soon. We can't take a risk to give Sonakshi this company, again! Whoever agrees with me please vote?
Majority of members raise their hand in the favor of Prema. Sonakshi stood up and walks out of the room.
Prema: So Mr. Chairman, it's decided. Sonakshi can't be the boss again.
