that practice match with aoba johsai is the last match the team fight alongside sorashi. the tall middle blocker is gone after the practice match ended and no one can find him in anywhere. he didn't show up at practices anymore even the third years couldn't see him anywhere.

it was rather concerning but one of sorashi's classmates told them that he is completely okay and is attending school like usual. this eased their mind slightly.

because of they will enter prelims in two weeks, they kind of forget about the tall sleepyhead. but of course it will be hard for the third years since they don't have the master of guess block in the team.

meanwhile in sorashi's side, he is actually trying to find a solution to his trouble to get sync with the team. he is currently searching for his favourite instant ramen while raking his mind.

a voice boomed from behind him, startling him slightly. "you!"

sora turned his back and saw a blonde man with headband on his head. he cocked his head slightly to the side and sent the man a questioning look.

"you are karasuno's middle blocker,  right?" the man asked.

"not anymore," sorashi answered. turning his back to the shelf, sora paid no mind to the cashier.

"it is the last chance to go to nationals, are you really wanted to pass the chance?"

"let it be then. with me in the team, there will be nothing good in the end,"

"don't you say to your brother that you wanted to go to nationals?"

sora flinched when he heard his brother is being mentioned. "i'm not tenma, i'm not naturally talented like him." the dark haired boy snarked.

"but jiichan really wanted to see you to go to nationals, you know."sora froze when he heard the blonde mentioned his former coach.

with a scowl on his face, sora turned to face the blonde guy. "what do you want, keishin?"

just one more little push. ukai thought. he smiled at the younger man as he dragged the ciggarette to his lips.

"do you still want to play?"

"no,"

"you are lying, jiichan is going to be so disappointed,"

sorashi shows him a bored look. "you better have a good reason."

sora left the family mart as soon as possible, leaving the smiling blonde guy behind. well that was easier than what daichi has said to me. ukai thought.

;

"i heard you left," a voice rang from his phone. he just hummed in affirmation, his eyes still glued to the dim evening sky.

"since when?"

"since the practice match with aoba johsai,"

"why? do you afraid of losing?"

"why should i be afraid of losing? i've lost so many times,"

"then why?"

"if i couldn't find a way to blend myself in, it would be a disaster." sorashi's eyes still never leaving the now dark sky. he felt ashamed for leaving like that but again, he had no choice.

"you are an idiot really,"

"why are you so out of character today, seijuuro?"

"because you are an idiot,"
