Alecto ran along the tunnel to find her way out, she stopped when she heard a howl and immediately realized that it was Lupin, and he wasn't safe as he hadn't taken his potion that night.
She started toward the exit again as fast as she could, as she saw the moonlight on the grass by the exit of the Whomping Willow she crawled out quickly and yelped as she saw a werewolf and a big black dog clawing and fighting eachother.

She looked back and saw Snape who looked like he tried to keep the trio safe but they were knocked over by the werewolf, the black dog barked at the large werewolf as if taunting it and he ran off as the transformed professor Lupin ran after him.

Snape's eye caught Alecto's figure immediately, "Miss Black get over here!"
But she hadn't even thought twice when she transformed into her animagus form and ran after the werewolf and her father.

"BLACK GET BACK HERE!" she heard Snape bellow as she ran off.
She could remember attacking Lupin once or twice before being knocked to the ground hard and being knocked out cold.

“Nasty cut you’ve got there… Black’s work, I suppose?”

“As a matter of fact, it was Potter, Weasley, and Granger, Minister…”

“No!”

“Black had bewitched them, I saw it immediately. A Confundus Charm, to judge by their behavior. They seemed to think there was a possibility he was innocent. They weren’t responsible for their actions. On the other hand, their interference might have permitted Black to escape… They obviously thought they were going to catch Black single-handed. They’ve got away with a great deal before now… I’m afraid it’s given them a rather high opinion of themselves… and of course Potter has always been allowed an extraordinary amount of license by the headmaster —”

“Ah, well, Snape… Harry Potter, you know… we’ve all got a bit of a blind spot where he’s concerned.”

Alecto opened her eyes as she heard Snape's voice, she blinked slowly and didn't immediately realize what was going on till she remembered what happened earlier.

"And Miss Black?"
The minister's words caught her attention immediately and she listened closely.

"An Animagus, just like her father." She heard Snape say with a hint of disgust in his voice.
"No doubt she tried protecting him and might've helped him into the castle."
"Indeed she did, the girl could never think clearly. Always running towards danger and looking for trouble."

"I suppose as she is in Slytherin you would want to expel her?"

Alecto sat up at the Minister's words, would Snape really expel her?

"Yes, I am considering it, if not a month's worth detention will do."

Alecto frowned, Snape considered having her expelled?

She looked around the room and saw Madam Pomfrey over at Ron's bed and Harry and Hermione awake in their own beds.
She glanced at the Hospital wing door to see it slightly ajar which were where Snape and the minister's voice had come from.
Just then Pomfrey spoke up, "Ah I see you're all awake!"

Alecto flinched lightly at the sudden loudness in the womans voice.

“How’s Ron?” said Harry and Hermione together.
“He’ll live,” said Madam Pomfrey grimly. “As for you three, you’ll be staying here until I’m satisfied you’re — Potter, what do you think you’re doing?”

Harry was sitting up, putting his glasses back on, and picking up his wand.

“I need to see the headmaster,” he said.
