Snape had let Alecto know of their next Occulumency lesson and she was fully healed by Monday so she attended her classes. Ron believed that Crookshanks had eaten his rat, Scabbers and wasn't speaking to Hermione at all because of it.

The next Quidditch match would be in a week, where Gryffindor would play against Ravenclaw. Meanwhile the Slytherin team was still practicing.

Alecto made her way down to the dungeons and towards potions classroom, Snape had arranged another Occulumency lesson, she hoped things wouldn't be awkward after what happened last time.

He opened his classroom door seconds after she knocked.
"Miss Black."
"Professor..."

Snape moved aside, allowing Alecto to walk inside as he closed the door behind her.

"Right, Miss Black, same as always, you sit down, I penetrate your mind and you attempt to resist. But this time I'm going to go further into your memories, to seek what it is that you don't know and what the reason is for all this." His voice drawled as he stalked around the chair slowly and back infront of Alecto who was sitting in the chair.

Hours passed, both Alecto and Snape exhausted from going through countless memories and finding absolutely no answers.

"Can we please rest..." Alecto pleaded tiredly.
Snape didn't agree but didn't argue either, he slumped down in a chair slowly, looking absolutely exhausted.

She looked at him slowly, his features didn't meet those of his usual dark demeanor he always had but this time he looked tired and just miserable.
After a few seconds Alecto spoke up, "I'm sorry about what happened last time professor."
He looked up at her, his eyes filled with slight pain.

"I don't know what I saw, but I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me."

Snape sat a little upright in his chair, "Miss Black. What you saw was your father and his friends." He spoke softly.

Alecto frowned, "My father?"
Snape eyed her silently, "My father bullied you... that's- that's why you hate me so much."

Snape flinched lightly, he couldn't stand letting anyone know but she already did.
"I'm not like him, professor."

"I know..." Snape gave her a pained look, Alecto felt horrible for the man, her father bullied him, that's why he hated her so much, thats why he couldn't stand being around her.

Alecto got up slowly and sighed, "Let's continue."

The day of the match arrived, Alecto was on her way to the Quidditch pitch but something stopped her, she saw a black dog, this time, this time she was going to get him.
Without hesitation she went after it, soon she had lost all sight of the dog when she came to a stop at the Whomping Willow, where she heard a bark.
Alecto turned to the lively tree and frowned as she saw what looked like an opening under one of it's roots, hurrying into the black hole under the ground as quick as possible as to not get wounded by the tree, she followed the pathway, soon she got into the Shrieking shack.

Looking around and observing her surroundings she saw some paw prints on the wooden floor that had been covered in years of untouched dust.

Alecto took a slow breath and followed the large dog prints until she got into a room and they started getting bigger, and started looking more like human footprints. Her breath hitched in the back of her throat as she stopped, still looking down but at a pair of human feet.
He was right in front of her, her father, a man she didn't know, a murderer...

A million thoughts crossed her mind.
Slowly she looked up, her eyes traveling over his ragged clothes slowly up to his dirty face and long black hair.

He looked exactly as she expected, or rather almost exactly. He didn't have a mad murderous look in his eyes.

Alecto's green eyes met his and her emotions almost poured out of her.
"F-father—" she whimpered softly, each part of that word, laced with emotion.
The man's features immediately turned to that of sorrow and pity and in a swift movement he pulled her into his arms.

Trying to hold back any tears, Alecto held onto him tightly. They stood for a few long minutes until he let her gently out of his embrace. Wiping away any tears Alecto looked up at him. He gave her a soft smile before he spoke, "How I've missed you..." his words were barely above a whisper.

"Look at you—" he said, his features full of pride, "You've grown so much, you're beautiful."

Alecto couldn't help but feel her heart ache terribly as he said those words, she couldn't remember anything about him and it pained her so much.
She didn't know him, but it felt like she did.

"Father— I..." she didn't know what to say and her voice trailed off.

Her father gently kissed her forehead, "You shouldn't be out here, it's too dangerous for you, you will see me again, but you have to leave." He spoke softly as he looked at her eyes, and with that in a swift movement he changed to his animagus form and left, leaving her in the shrieking shack, with only the sound of the creaking walls.

Alecto made her way back to Hogwarts, it's gotten late and she missed the game but heard that Gryffindor had won. As she walked into the big oak doors she saw Professor Snape.

"I was looking for you." He stated seriously as he walked up to her.

"Why, is something wrong?"

"No. But I scheduled another Occulumency lesson for about half an hour ago and you didn't show up."

"Oh... sorry, well we can do it now?"

Snape eyed her suspiciously, there was something different about her.

"Alright then." He drawled out slowly, obviously planning to find out where she had been. "Follow me."

Once they got to his classroom he spoke up, "Where were you during the match?"

"Oh so you're stalking me now?"

Snape scowled, "No. I just didn't see you with the Slytherins."

"Well I was busy."

"With?" He turned to her and his onyx eyes met her green ones.
"That's none of your business." Alecto smirked slightly, she knew he was getting annoyed.
Besides it really wasn't any of his business.
She met her father, honestly, it was amazing. She loved that moment even if she knew he might be a crazy madman who killed twelve muggles and Peter Pettigrew and was going back to Azkaban probably but she just felt safe around him at that moment, as if he wouldn't ever hurt her.

Snapes eyes narrowed as he stalked closer to her, his movements like that of a creature sneaking up to his prey, Alecto felt him trying to enter her mind, so she used what he has taught her these last few weeks, and successfully blocked him out.

A slight smirk tugged on the professor's lips, "Seems you're getting better at that." He said slowly.

"Well I've learned from the best." Alecto smiled but cringed slightly on the inside, did she just try to flirt?

"Indeed." He walked closer to her until he was right infront of her, Alecto could hear her breathing speed up slightly, what was happening. Was she dreaming?
