"DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!" Nandini screamed loudly on the maid who was now cowering in the corner. "Haven't I told you idiots a thousand times not to touch my stuff are you guys deaf or are you just dumb." Nandini kept on screaming completely losing for patience.
"Nandini what's wrong why are you shouting" Nandini's mom asked as she came in her room tired of her daughter's everyday tantrums.
Nandini Roy was the only daughter of one of the most richest business tycoons in India. The Roy family was one of the most respected family from Dehradun. It was very obvious that she was pampered since she was a child but her parents never thought that she would turn into a arrogant, rude, egoistic and and self centred girl when she grew up atleast she was according to her parents. Whenever you see Nandini Roy just turn around and walked the opposite way never mess with her this was the thing that every person in Dehradun knew. But no one asked why she was like this?
"Nandini calm down I make sure that no one ever touches your things again just stop shouting" her mother told her. Nandini glared at her mother "get out" she said angrily her mother simply sighed she signalled the maids to leave the room which they happily did.
"Your dad and I are going out for dinner I'll ask Shiv to make your dinner" her mother informed her before leaving her room.
Nandini collapsed on her bed sighing and here she was alone again she thought just as she was going to close her eyes bedroom door banged open. She got up ready to swear at the person but she stopped when she saw Dhruv and Aliya standing there smiling.
"Do you guys have a death wish stop banging my bedroom door open so loudly every time you come." Nandini said glaring at them.
"Do you ever have any other expression on your face other than anger" Aliya remarked as she sat beside Nandini Dhruv following her.
Aliya Singhania and Dhruv Nanda also came from very rich families like Nandini. Aliya and Dhruv were the only two people important in her life. The three of them had been friends since they were 4. And the only ones who could handle Nandini's anger and tantrums.
"What's wrong" Dhruv asked
"Nothing just the stupid maids touching my stuff again." Nandini grumbled falling back on her bed.
"So how did your date go yesterday" Nandini asked Aliya and Dhruv. Aliya and Dhruv had been dating for three years. Their parents were very happy but not for their kids but that this marriage would be profitable for both the families.
"It was so romantic" Aliya said dreamily and Dhruv looked at her like a love suck puppy. Nandini suddenly felt suffocated she didn't believe in love. She got up and went towards her huge terrace. She rested her elbows on the railing her face in her hands.
Nandini lived a life that thousands wished for she was treated like a princess her every wish was granted but she always felt like she was missing something when she saw Dhruv and Aliya she saw how happy they were together how they supported each other. She wanted someone like that by her side but her fear of getting hurt was greater. The greatest example of a broken love and marriage was right in front of her, her parents.
