Well..... I'm back! It's been a while but I've gotten another request so LET'S DO THIS!!

It's been hundreds of Irken years. You two have been competing to be the top Invader for as long as you two can remember. Well, that would've been when you two were hatched at the same smeetery at the same time. A certain egotistical Irken decided that it was a good idea to challenge you. Or.... was it you who challenged him?.... It doesn't matter. As you were zooming towards your mark in your cruiser, your Tallests' orders echoed in your mind. 

"You are to go to Zim's location and.... uh.... distract him from his mission, I guess."

Determination burned through your veins as you got closer and closer to your target's place of operations. You would not fail your mission. Besides, you were just as happy to annoy your smeethood rival. Your mind was set as you stealthily parked your ship in the woods near the proper location. Hopping down from your vessel, you began to sneakily sprint to his base. Nearing the base, you noticed that the window was, in fact, open. A small laugh came from your chest, almost happy that the building wasn't as secure as you thought it would be. You rolled yourself into the housing unit through the unexpected entrance before pushing yourself up and taking a chance for some reconnaissance. It was dark, but you could see that there was a couch, communication screen, a secondary room, and a trillion of wires in the ceiling. A scoff fell from your mouth. "Not bad, but I could do better." 

"No one can do better than Zim!!!" Your squeedlyspooch leaped into your mouth as you spun around to face the Irken who's voice it belonged to. You weren't expecting him to be sitting in a dark room, almost waiting for you. Zim got up and marched towards you, causing you to take a step back. All of this seemed planned somehow. You were still so confused and frazzled that you hadn't noticed he had gotten extremely close to you, now towering over you. "Now, why are you here, (Y/N)?" All you could really do is stare at him before attempting to respond to his interrogation. 

"Uh... Well.... I... Um...... I'm here to-" 

"Stop stuttering!! Zim knows you admire him, but this is just ridiculous!" 

You had to stop for a second to process what he just implied. You, admire him? You couldn't help yourself, you had to laugh. "Why are you laughing?!" You gulped in air before responding.

"Y-you think I admire you!! Hahahaha!!! You're such an idiot!!!" Zim looked like you just slapped him across the face. 

"How dare you!!" He took a hard swing at you. He ended up missing horribly  as you ducked away in time, throwing him off balance and falling.... right onto you. Your face heated up as you realized how close you two were. 

"G... Get off me, idiot!!!!" Zim quickly scrambled off of you and proceeded to stare at you, frazzled beyond belief. You two weren't sure what this feeling was, but you've only felt this during training when you two used to compete against each other. It wasn't adrenaline..... what was this? Zim was the first one to snap out of his state of shock and confusion. You came out of it a second later. You realized that the other Irken's face was heating up. "What was that?"

"How is Zim supposed to know?! It's probably your fault!" You shook your head. 

"This isn't me!! I... I've only ever experienced that back when we were still smeets...." His antenna perked up at this.

"You've felt this before too?" You nodded. He stared at you for a second before looking away and composing himself. He then cleared his throat and stood up straight. "Well, since we both seem to be experiencing the same thing, there must be a cure to it. And, Zim will find it!! But since you are here anyway, you shall stay here for the time being and watch the amazing Zim work on the solution!!" You shook your head, but you smiled. This might be an interesting mission, but you're sure glad it will be easy. 

"Sure, Zim."
