The ticking of the clock was the only noise you really focused on while you "watched" TV. It was just a boring weekend and nothing was really happening. Your mind then wandered to your best friend, Tak. A darker color spread across your face. Yeah, "friend". You never wanted to admit it, but you had a crush on her. Actually, you've had a crush on her for a year or two now. She was just so nice, and pretty, and cool. Actually, everything about her was perfect. You especially loved her eyes. They were so mesmerizing and pretty. It was like gazing into the universe whenever you looked into her eyes. But, alas, she was an alien and your friend. She could never love you and she probably didn't see you more than a friend anyway. I mean, she was just super nice all the time to you. How could you not love her? Your doorbell caused you to jump out of your thoughts and chair. You muttered an expletive as you tripped a little as you got up from your seat and made your way to your door. A large smile made its way onto your lips as you were greeted by the person you wanted to see most.

"Hey, Tak!"

"Hey, (Y/N)." She returned the smile, pushing her holographic hair behind her equally holographic ear. "I just wanted to stop by to ask if you'd like to go to the park. I brought sandwiches and soda along so we can have lunch." Your smile grew at the thought of spending time with the Irken girl. 

"Of course! Yeah! That sounds great!" You grabbed your keys and whatever else you deemed necessary to bring on this little excursion to the park down the street. It took no time at all to get there. You two began strolling around trying to find the perfect place. Tak grabbed your hand, causing you to blush. She pointed to a spot under a blossoming apple tree. 

"What about there?" You nodded, smiling as she dragged you towards the perfect spot. The two of you sat under the blooming flora, having a had time wiping the love struck look off your face. She was just so perfect. A sandwich passed your vision, pulling you back to reality. You took the food, smiling.

"Thanks." She smiled back.

"Sure!" You two sat in almost complete silence while you ate. It wasn't an awkward, but very peaceful. After the food was gone, you two went on a nice walk, hand in hand, around the park. As the day was coming to an end, Tak stopped suddenly. This caught your attention.

"Something wrong?" She chuckled, shaking her head before looking you in the eyes. A heavy blush shaded your face.

"No, nothings wrong, (Y/N). I just really enjoyed today. It was a nice date." Before you could express your confusion, she leaned in and locked lips with you. After a second she pulled back, a hue also covering her face, but also a big smile. You, also had a smile, but also, very confused. You blinked.

"This was a date?" She looked at you for a second before bursting into laughter. 

"Yes! Of course! I thought you knew, human!" The blush became heavier out of embarrassment. You began laughing as well, smiling. You two laughed for a few seconds before calming. One question did hang in you mind at this point.

"So, does that mean we're dating now?" She snorted and nodded. 

"Yes of course!" You stood there for a second before your smile grew.

"Cool."
