Zim x Tallest!Fem!Reader

It had been a long day on the Massive: Running around doing menial tasks, making sure everything was running smoothly, inspecting the Invaders. Speaking of which, a certain invader had caught your eye. You weren't sure why but you wanted to get to know him better. Which is odd because he was the shortest Invader in the history of Irk. He was clearly a Defective, but you couldn't help but feel a warm, fuzzy feeling when he's reporting in or just talking to you in general.

"My Tallet." The voice of one of the techs made your antenna twitch, pulling you out of your daydream.

"Ah.... Yes?"

"There's a transmission coming from Earth. Should I patch it through?" You sat up straight at hearing that it was from your favorite Irken.

"Yes, patch it through." Static filled the screen before Zim stood (relatively) tall and proud in your presence. You had to hold back a smile.

"Reporting in, My Tallest!"

"Well, don't keep me waiting. What's your latest report?" His eye shone bright at the question.

"It seems that the Dib-filth has not suspected anything about my latest plan!"

"Good. What is your latest plan?"

"Well, I've prepared this board-" Just then an idea struck you.

"A-Actually, Zim. I think I'd like to come hear it in person." The whole room gave you concerned side-eye. Zim looked taken aback as well.

"Really?" You nod, getting out of your chair. As you leave the room you give a few final orders.

"Cut the transmission and get the teleporter ready. I'll be back when I'm needed." The room became full of clicks and clacks of typing again. You, on the other hand, stepped into the teleport. You blinked and you were in an unfamiliar place. You stepped out, looking around. "Huh. Not bad of a base." You strolled around before seeing you were in a satellite base overlooking Earth. It was a vibrant little planet that had caught your interest ever since the previous Tallest warned you about it. You weren't sure as to why they didn't like Zim. A flash and a buzz caught your attention, turning to see Zim taking a step out of the teleporter and seeing you.

"M-My Tallest. I forgot to tell you I don't have a direct teleporter into my base from the Massive." You smiled gently.

"That's alright, it's a nice view of the planet from here." Zim gave a small, shy smile. "So, take me to your base and show me your latest plan to take over Earth." He nodded walking into another teleporter node, waiting for you. You followed and stood next to him. Another blink and you were inside a vibrant base. Wires hung from the ceiling, the walls and floors were brightly colored, and the furniture was oh so interesting. You took a seat and smiled at him as he ordered Computer to pull up his latest plan on the TV screen in front of you. You smile again, having another idea to get closer to him. "Zim, would you mind sitting on the couch with me while you explain the plan?" He nodded and hopped up, sitting next to you. He ordered Computer to bring a screen over so that it would be easier to show you what's going on. As he explained his plan, you slowly leaned in closer to him. The more he talked the more he got oblivious to everything around him. You took this opportunity to pull him into your lap and hold him close. He was so cute and you loved the sound of his voice more than you thought. After a little more time passed, you began playing with his antenna absentmindedly. This pulled him out of his hyperfocus, realizing what was happening, heat flushing across his face.

"M-My Tallest? What a-are you doing?" You stopped and blushed embarrassed.

"I'm sorry, Zim! I can stop if you want me to."

"N-No!! It's fine." You put a finger under his chin making him look you in the eyes.

"Are you sure you want me to continue?" He nodded, blushing intensely. You gave another smile as you continued playing with his antenna. You started zoning out, relaxing on the couch. And, before you knew it, Zim had fallen asleep in your arms. You finally noticed and chuckled, petting his head. "Sweet dreams, my little Invader."
