I closed my eyes and tried to meditate, but the sound of Ezra being chased by Zeb, stopped me. I let out a sigh and gave up on trying to meditate. I stood up and walked out to see Ezra run past me. I quickly caught a hold of Zeb by his ear and stopped him.
"Karabast!" He yelled as I held him in place.
"I am trying to meditate so take this outside." I said calmly.
"Sorry." He mumbled.
I rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek before turning and walking back inside. After awhile I heard the door open and opened one eye to see Ezra walk in.
"What can I do for you Ezra?" I asked softly.
"I was curious... Kanan told me you left the order.. why?"
"I met Zeb and fell in love with him." I explained.
"And?"
"And it was against the Jedi code to love." I said with a small smile.
"How did you meet Zeb?"
"That is a long story, but I was.. maybe a few years older then you when I met him." I said softly.
Past
I ran through the forest and held my breath as I ran from the droids. I had lost my squad and master and was alone. I soon made it out and nearly fell over a cliff. When I turned I saw a group of droids. If I had my lightsaber it would be easy to take them out, but I had no weapon.
"Fire!" A droid ordered.
I closed my eyes and waited for death to come, but it never did. I opened my eyes and saw a tall Lasat standing over the broken bodies of the droids. I let out a sigh of relief and fell to my knees.
"Easy." He said as he caught me.
"Thank you." I said before I passed out.
When I woke up I was in a hutt and I had been bandaged up. I looked beside me and saw my lightsaber.
"You're finally up. My name's Garazeb Orrelios. I'm the Captain of the honor guard." He said softly.
"Padawan (Y/n) (L/n)." I said softly.
"A pleasure to meet you." He said as he sent me a smile.
He crouched down and checked over my wound.
"Have you seen my squad?"
"I sent a group to find them. You're lucky I found you." He said as he met my eyes.
"Thank you... I am in your debt." I said softly.
He sent me a smile and went to rebandage my wound.
Present
"So How did you know you loved him?" Ezra asked softly.
"I just knew... something about him.. made me want to leave the order.. to be with him. At first I didn't listen to the voice, but by the age of twenty-five I had gave in and left to be with him."
He sent me a look and I let out a laugh.
"I had just been given rank of Jedi Knight, and hadn't seen him in awhile. Me and my squad was sent to help him and his people."
Past
I let out a sigh as I followed my clone commander to the village. When we arrived my heart stopped beating as I saw Zeb. He had changed a little from the last time we had seen each other. He was more muscular and his eyes were lighter.
"Master (Y/n)." He said with a smile.
"Please Zeb, just (Y/n)." I said softly.
He nodded his head and then got to work on explaining everything to me. I listened closely to him and then we made a plan. I got my troops ready and then left to take the droids out. It was over within two hour and we were about to leave when something stopped me. I found myself walking to Zeb's hutt and going inside.
"Hey." I said softly.
"What are you doing here?" He asked softly.
"I... I don't know... something.. is pulling me here... pulling me to you." I said as I looked down.
"You too." He said as he stopped in front of me.
"I.."
"I know, you have a duty and can't stay... I understand."
"No you don't... my duty... shouldn't be to the council. It should be to my heart and what I believe is right and I believe... being with you is right."
"Karabast, I was scared for a second." He said as he let out a sigh of relief.
I sent him a smile and leaned up and gently kissed him.
Present.
"We got married a month later." I said with a smile.
"And have been together since." A voice said.
I smiled as I turned my head to see Zeb leaving against the door frame.
"I'll leave you two love birds." Ezra said as he walked out of the room.
Zeb sent me a smile and I leaned up and touched the side of his face.
"I love you." I said softly.
"I love you, Master (Y/n)." He said as he leaned down and captured my lips with his.
