For the LGBTQ+ community, Pride Month is a time to celebrate who we are: whether we are out, closeted, stealth, presenting, certain, questioning, new, or a familiar face.
It's also a time for our allies to show their pride in supporting us, and for the community, as a whole tot alk about all we have achieved, all we have overcome, and all that we will keep striving towards.
But we don't need to make huge, world-changing leaps every day for it to matter—day by day we're getting there.
Personal things matter too, whether it be that you've changed your hair to align with your gender, or you've told a friend at school or work you're going on a date with somebody of the same sex.
These are personal milestones, and during Pride Month the community makes a lot of them.
