Months flew past and another school year is about to end, malapit ng matapos ang 3rd quarter. Nath didn't stop throwing cheesy lines on me. And what made me feel irritated? Renz's doing the same.

Kagigising ko lang nang makareceive na naman ako ng dalawang messages. I know who these two are. I opened the first message and it's from Renz.

Renz:

Good morning, don't forget to eat breakfast and pray. See you later, Zel.

I typed a reply. Actually hindi nakaka-ilang ang ganitong kilos ni Renz, parang sanay na ako sa kaniya. But Nath? Lumalala ata kada araw. Sanay na ako sa 'I miss you' ni Renz pero kapag kay Nath nanggagaling iyon? Gusto ko na lang tumakbo at 'wag magpakita. He's getting cheesier than the usual.

Hazel:

Morning, see you!

Sa mga nagdaang araw ay hindi ko pinapansin ang presensiya ni Nath. Akala ko ay matatagalan ko ang gano'ng pakikitungo niya but no, I can't stay even just a minute with him. Palagi kaming nasa library ni Renz dahil hinihintay ako ni Nath. Para siyang babae sa paraan niya ng paglandi sa 'kin. He even admitted it himself that he'll do any flirting-moves he knows.

Naiilang na 'ko kay Nath! I thought he was joking when he said he'd court me but no, Nath has a word. Hindi ko gustong buksan ang pangalawang mensahe sa cellphone ko. Every morning I always receive a voice mail from Renz, he's singing for me. And Nath, he's taking pictures of him and sending it to me. Seriously, anong gagawin ko sa litrato niya!?

Nath:

Nasa labahan shirt ko, e. Pero magagawan naman ng paraan kung gusto mo, gusto mo ba?

Napa-irap ako sa hangin nang mabasa ang mensahe niya. Gosh, I'm ignoring him for months pero hindi pa rin siya tumitigil! Sobrang naiilang na ako sa presensya niya tuwing AP. He's telling me a science-related jokes! But a part of me also enjoying how he throw lines, nagpapaka-expert.

Hindi ako nag-reply at in-off na ang mob-data ko. Lagi niya na lang akong iniinis at hindi na ako natutuwa, o pakiramdamn ko lang 'yon? Just like the usual, I did my morning rituals and proceeded to kitchen for breakfast.

Sunday is our family day. Naalala ko tuloy 'yung ginawa naming panonood ng movie nila Renz at Shai. How is she by the way? She left me words I still can't answer.

Would I refuse to hear?

Hindi naman ako dati tumangging tignan, bakit ko ngayon tatanggihang pakinggan?

Renz have reached his limit. Wala akong chance na ibibigay. What he is doing right now is a normal thing he always does. Even if he considered it as 'courting', I considered it as 'nothing'. If he has a place on my heart, it will always be between bestfriend or brother.

I shrugged all of my thought away as my family greeted me with a smile. I smiled back and hugged each one of them.

"We're now complete!" My brother exclaimed. I tousled his hair and pinched his cheeks. Hayden rolled his eyes on me and turned his back. Here we go again, my jealous brother.
