"Shit! Mag ni-nine na pala!" Napa balikws ako ng bangon at dali-daling tumakbo pababa para maghanda ng breakfast ni Mommy. Mukhang hindi pa rin naman siya gising dahil malinis pa ang kusina. I'll just wake her up later kapag tapos na ang inihanda ko.
I played music and sang along the song while frying some spam. I can't cook a lot of food because I only know how to fry and bake. I set up the table and cleaned the sink before calling my Mom to eat. I reached her door and slowly opened the knob, trying not to wake her up.
"Ma? Gising na, I prepared breakfast! I was hoping you'd like it." I chuckled and sat down her bed to wake her up. She's still not moving. I was tapping her foot gently and calling out her name so she would come back to her senses.
"Ma! Ma, gising na. Lalamig 'yung pagkain." I stood up and tried to check her drawer if there's something I can wake her up with.
"Ma! Huy! Napasarap naman ata tulog mo. Ma! Huy!" I reached for her shoulders and shook her but she's still not responding. I'm getting scared but I'm still calm.
"Ma, huy! Nakakatakot ka, ha! Pinagluto kita ng favorite mo, spam at egg. 'Yun lang kinaya ng powers ko eh." I giggled and stared at her for a second.
"Ma..." I went closer to her and check if she's still breathing. "Ma! Ma, gising! Mommy!" I was already shouting pero hindi parin niya minumulat ang mga mata niya.
I dialed Jay to ask for help kasi hindi na talaga nahinga si Mommy. I put him on loud speaker so I can hear him if he responds. I just keep on dialing him , but he's not responding. I shook my Mom one more time and get the keys to start the car.
"Ma, kapit ka lang. Dadalhin na kita sa hospital, gumising ka na, ha?" I said, trying not to cry but my tears kept on falling and I can't even control it anymore. I ran outside and started the car para makapunta na kaagad kami sa hospital.
I carried my Mom outside, it was so hard for me to carry her but we made it inside. I was panting heavily and drove fast to get there immediately. Tinatawagan ko parin si Jay pero hindi parin siya sumasagot. I called some of my friends, but they didn't respond as well. I left Gab a text saying I rushed my mom to the hospital so she can go there just in case.
"Ma, 'wag bibitaw, ha? Malapit na tayo..." I was checking up on her at the back of the car. Hindi parin siya nagigising.
