On the wings of a dove
Can be found the purity and peace of love
Promised from God
Beautiful, unmistakable gentleness and honor
No pride or distrust
More than flippant and petty lust
To one alone
Not to be forgotten short of eternal rest
Breathless, untainted innocence awaiting
White, fretful impatience of dating
Divine guidance
Forever salvation from a lonely flooded world
Soft, cooing melodies of comforting sound
Strength in another through love is found
Rejuvenation in life
Affection and trust as pure as white feathers
What fools be who fall in love
As innocent as a lone white dove
Looking out at a world drowning in despair
Love as the bird offers a promise of hope and rescue
