𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 ~ 𝙟𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙣

chapter five xx

As they walked towards James car he opened the door for Piper
"Being a gentleman are we?" She questioned whilst laughing.
"Always" he smiled

As the two pulled up to the Italian restaurant he opened the door for Piper again.
"You know you don't have to do that for me every time" She laughed
"I brought you on a date of course I'm going to be a gentleman" he smiled
They walked into the small restaurant James asked the waiter to lead them to a small table at the back of the restaurant

"At least the paps won't see us here" he laughed
"You know I had only been papped once until I was in Tesco and some lady next to me tipped them off and then and then every time I go to Tesco to get my chocolate and strawberries I get papped" Piper rambled
"Chocolate strawberries never tried it" he laughed
"Oh you have to it's so nice my mom used to make them for me and my friends when we had sleepovers"
"Sorry when I'm nervous I ramble" " I'm still doing it sorry" She said with her nerves showing quite obviously
"Nah don't apologies I think it's cute" he smiled
"Thankyou" She smiled back before looking at the menu

"So are you ready to order?" The waiter questioned he was young and you could hear the Italian in him
"Yeah I am are you Piper?" James asked the girl sat opposite him
"Yeah I am" She smiled
"Please can I have the margarita pizza with a garlic bread base" she spoke
Of course and for you?" the waiter smirked before turning his attention to James
"I'll have the lasagna please"
The waiter scribbled down there order.
"Gracie" piper smiled
"Prego" the waiter smiled

Once the waiter walked away James looked at Piper before saying "I never knew you spoke Italian"
"Hm yeah my mom is half Italian so she always brought us up speaking it"
He nodded while sipping his drink
"So have you ever been to Italy"
"Surprisingly no my mom and dad go every year for there anniversary so when we was younger we got sent to our nan and grandads"
"My mom never took us because she only ever went with my dad and her mom and dad only went just them two so in my family your soulmate takes you to Italy once a year that's kind of our tradition" She smiled realisingshe
was rambling again

"How about you have you ever been?" Piper smiled
"No I haven't actually it's one of the places on my bucket list though our holiday was always Spain or Portugal growing up" he laughed
"Yeah I'm the same and then when my mom and dad used to go to Italy we used to go to somewhere down south with my nan and grandad" She smiled
"Yeah I feel like everyone goes Spain or Portugal it's very British" he laughed
"Very British indeed" she smirked back

"Here's your dinner lovely" the waiter smiled at Piper before placing her pizza in front of her. 
"And yours" he used a less soft tone while placing James dinner in front of him which made piper laugh. He then placed a small folded piece of paper by Pipers plate before rushing me off. James rolled his eyes and looked at the piece of the paper
"Who's opening it then?" Piper questioned
"Well he obviously didn't take a liking to me so you can" he laughed
I unfolded the paper to see

"Brilliant I take a girl on a date and the waiter is flirting with her" James laughed
"Pure liberty if I do say so" She smirked
"Yeah it is"

"So you mentioned you have a brother what's his thoughts on you doing YouTube?" He asked
"Yeah I mean he's not massively into it and he doesn't like it if someone sexualises me on Instagram but we're really close and he supports it like he will be in a vlog but he wouldn't go out his way to make a video with me especially now he's gonna be a dad" Piper smiled at the thought of being an auntie.

"Yeah sophies like that she'll come to games she has to and she likes the fact that I get to know people who she loves like you or someone but it's not her thing" he smiled
"Aw yeah your sister is so cute she's goergous aswell does she know you've bought me on a date?" She questioned
"Yeah she was FREAKING out when I told her does your brother know?" He laughed
"Hmm yeah he knows he was freaking out because he loves football so does my dad he was okay with it as long as you don't try and convert me into a Leicester fan" Piper smiled
"I would try but I don't know if it's worth it honestly" he laughed

"Is your brother older?" He added
"Yeah alfie is 24 so he's very protective" Piper smiled
"I'll keep that in mind" he said

About an hour later the waiter bought the bill over James instantly grabbed it not letting Piper see how much it was

"Let me pay my half" She said as she placed her card on the table
"No,no way remember what we said I'm being the gentleman" he said seriously
"Please let me pay half" the girl pleaded
"Nope not going to happen I've got this"
"Fine let me pay for the next date" Piper held her hands up in defeat

Once they had done the short drive home they pulled up to pipers house
"So we're having a next date" he smirked
"When you ask me I think Ill say yes" She also smirked
"Well Piper will you go on a second date with me?"
"Yes James i will"
"Goodnight piper" he smiled
"Goodnight" She said softly as the shut the door shut
