Draco's POV
I ran over to the younger Funneh, feeling the crunch of the leaves below me as I took each step. Reaching my hand out, I couldn't help but notice that all the younger versions of us looked up for a second. It was a small moment of time, but it was long enough for them to look directly into my eyes with me noticing. Realizing there was nothing I could do to change the past, I watched as all of them as they went up to the orb of light and placed a tiny finger on it. The orb burst into billions of pieces, multiple of them flying into us. Our eyes changed colors before deciding to choose variety of colors. A rainbow. Two young adults came running out of a nearby house, hoping that we were safe. This world was full of magic, but the little me didn't know that yet.
. . . . . . . . . . .
Everything around me was different now. The park was gone, and now in it's place was a young Krew sitting in our living room. Rainbow and Gold looked at each other, and I could see the look of worry in their eyes. A young lady wearing a light pink shirt, blue jeans, and black flats, came out of a door. Her light blue hair was put up into a loose bun, held together by a thick silver band. Next to her was a young man, wearing a yellow and green t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and black sneakers. His brown hair was slicked back, almost exactly like me and Gold's hair. They both glanced at each other, the woman's yellow eyes meeting the man's gray-purple ones. Those were our parents.

Lunar's POV
I couldn't help but set the books down and take a deep breath. I flopped onto my bed, taking a random book with me. As I took my left hand off of it, there was a black smudge on my thumb. Looking at the corner of the tattered, old book, I noticed some words written in black ink. It read, don't— and then something else that was crossed out, stopping me from reading what it said.

I ignored the letters and opened the book. Upon reading the first couple of words, my eyes started to burn. The book had turned a dark purple, its edges seeping through with black. I pulled my hand away from the page, throwing it across the room. It landed in a small bucket of water I had on my desk, and immediately returned to its light brown cover. I exhaled loudly and walked up to it, clutching a unicorn's horn. What? Unicorn horns are really sharp! Don't judge me, they could cut right through you! Anyway, I walked up to it, being cautious of touching it. As soon as I examined the water it was in, I realized what it was. Spring water!

Kyran's POV
My eyes were wide open. I was watching one of my favorite shows ever. Carmen Sandiego. Carmen pulled on the wrenched shut metal doors, hoping she could escape from the mess she was in. Coach Brunt immediately grabbed her and threw her across the room, causing Carmen's red coat to come off. All of the tools she had inside of it fell out onto the cement floor, and she watched as Coach ripped her coat apart. Suddenly, my little brother came running into my room, dragging me down to the kitchen.
" What the heck, Lucas?! I was watching Carmen Sandiego!!" I screamed at him. He shook his head disapprovingly and glared at me.
" Honestly, which one is better? Your stupid little Netflix show or Gold?" (IT'S NOT A STUPID SHOW I'M SORRY) My eyes widened. How did he know? " Ok, but you blushing doesn't make the whole situation better. Anyway, Funneh told me that Gold is heading to the mall. She said it's finally your time to shine."
" What the-?"
" She calls this plan 'dork gets girlfriend caper'."
" Doesn't that mean she watches Carmen Sandiego, too?"
" Wait, you were watching Carmen Sandiego? Everyone watches that show! Anyway, come on, let's go!"

Funneh's POV
I grinned at Gold. She was confused but ignored my mischievous smile. I quietly followed her to the mall, waiting for Lucas and Kyran to arrive. School was starting again tomorrow, so that meant that we all had to go out and "get fresh air" or whatever Rainbow said. Gold stopped in her tracks, turning around. I jumped to the right and hid behind a plant pot.
" Hey Funneh! Why're you-?" I looked up to see Alec. I swiftly put my hand over his mouth and dragged him down on the floor next to me so Gold wouldn't see him either.
" Shhh!! We have to wait for Kyran and Lucas to arrive!" I ushered him to stay still.
" Wait, why are they coming?"
" Didn't I tell you? This is operation Dork gets a girlfriend. Today is Kyran's day to shine!" Alec cracked up laughing, causing me to cover his mouth again. " Shut up!!!" I hissed. He immediately stopped and we caught up to Gold. Kyran and Lucas were already at the mall, standing right in front of a bench near the entrance. We walked up to them and talked about the plan.
" Ok, Funneh, what's the plan?" Lucas asked.
" First, Gold is going to go to Pinkie for something 'cute' to wear," I said. " Then, she'll go to the food cour—"
" Why's she going to the food court?" Alec asked.
" Cause! I'm hungry!!" I told them. " Anyway, she'll go to A&M and then come back to the dorm. Before she leaves, Kyran has to ask her the big question." I urged him to go inside, while the rest of us followed, and went into a nearby shop, pretending to browse. Gold stepped inside the shop, and I realized we were in Pinkie. Oh my gosh. I just led two guys into a females shop. I jumped aside and hid behind a table full of t-shirts just as Gold turned around to see Alec and Lucas. Uh oh, this wasn't gonna be good.

Draco's POV
I stared at the scene in front of me. I remembered this. The young woman— Opal— sat down on the couch next to us.
" Hey guys, something..... different is happening. When you touched that orb, all of you got your powers early. You weren't supposed to get your powers until you were ready, but that doesn't change the situation now. They know. The cursed know where us Mystics live. You need to get to the pod, and stay close with Rainbow. She'll know what to do."
" Mommy, what about you?" A young Lunar asked.
" Me and daddy will hold them off for as long as possible." She said, tears forming in her bright yellow eyes.
" But you'll die!" Rainbow screamed.
" We'll join you soon, ok?" She responded, the tears finally flowing out of her eyes.
" You promise?" Funneh asked.
" I promise."
. . . .  .  . . . . . . . .
The young Krew was running towards the big escape pod they had at the back of the house. Everyone but Funneh and Rainbow jumped inside it.
" Guys, come on! Mommy and Daddy will use the other one!" Little me said. I was too young to understand they weren't coming back. Rainbow reluctantly got in, but Funneh stayed behind, watching the scene in front of her unfold.
" Funneh! Come one!" Gold screamed. An army of the Cursed came into our town. Some of them charged toward our house. Gold stepped out of the pod and grabbed Funneh's arm, noticing that her sleeves were soaked with tears.
" Funneh?" She asked.
" Gold, they aren't coming back." She whispered, pointing her finger ahead. All of us stared at where she was pointing. In front of us were our parents, lying on the cool grass. Their shirts were stained with blood, knifes poking out of places. Rainbow got out, too, and pushed them in. "She promised." Funneh whispered to herself. "She promised..."
