I went to the classroom beside ours and started looking for the girl who spilled her drink on me. I found her sitting while talking to her another classmate. She's tying up her wavy brown hair to form a bun. She paints a ray of sunshine all over her face. She saw me standing outside their room and signaled her friend to wait.
"Hi! I remembered your face but I still don't know your name!" She cocked her head to the side.
"I'm Cali." I smiled as I accepted her hand.
"Nice name you got! I'm Gab, short for Zyrine Gabrielle. Nice to meet you!" She seems nice. Her smile is uplifting and charming. We split up because she has to practice for their dance presentation.
I'm not surprised to know that she's a dancer. Her well-toned muscle and minimal fat all over the entire body says it all. She's not that tall but she has the curves.
I was watching her practice when Jay suddenly went inside the room. He looked at me and I immediately looked away. I saw him smirked before he drank from his hydro flask.
"What are you looking at?" His brows furrowed. A handsome amag. Lol.
"Ah wala. Alis na ako." I hurriedly left the room.
"The school council is now open for nomination!" Sabi ng teacher namin pagkapasok niya ng classroom.
"Tara, sali tayo!" Sigaw nung iba kong kaklase.
"Hey, Cali. You wanna join the school council?" Neil asked me, 'yung kamukha ni Mrs. Puff. Taba e.
"Uhm, no." I shook my head. "I don't think I'm suitable in any position." I scratched my head.
"Try mo lang! Sa partylist ka namin nila Jay!" Kai said, convincing me.
"Saang position naman ako?"
"Sa tabi ko." Jay said while his eyes crinkled at the corners. "Char! Ikaw bahala kung saan mo gusto. Hindi ako namimilit ng tao." His voice sounded upset.
"Okay, fine. Secretary nalang. I can write and arrange the programs for the whole year." Narinig ko silang nag kantyawan.
"Yown! May babae na tayo!" Sigaw ni Kai.
"Ulol. Huwag mo kami igaya sayo, babaero." Jay snapped.
"Ohhhhhh! Babaero ka pala e! Wala ka pala kay Jay e! Ohhhhhh!"
Nagsimula na kaming mag meeting about our platforms and school activities which will run for the whole year. Luckily, I was in the same party with Gab. She helped me gain new friends and expose myself to everyone. I suggested a few events and gladly, they approved.
During the preparation for the campaign, mas naging close kami ni Jay at Gab.
We're halfway done through our campaign and my feet hurts already. I feel so tired walking up and down the stairs, medyo may heels pa naman yung black shoes ko.
"Hi guys! I'm Ate Cali, running for secretary! Please vote for me and my party! Thank you!" I sighed.
"MAKE SOME NOISE GRADE FOOOOOUUUUR!!!!" Jay screamed when it's his turn to speak for himself. "De, charot lang. I am Keane Jayden Torvas, running for President. The kids started screaming and clapping in excitement.
"Jooooookeeeeeee!" He took back what he said. "Ayoko naman mapatalsik dito hehe, I'm just kidding! But seriously, I can be goofy and loud but that personality is only when it's not school related. Pag nasa school, seryosong usapan 'to.
He ended up his speech with our jingle. We clapped and the kids were amused by our voices. Akala mo professional. They were clapping and singing with us.
To be honest, I don't like kids. I easily get annoyed kapag makulit ang bata. I don't like having them around, it makes my head hurt.
"Last na nating room 'to! Let's give our best, guys!"
"Hey, are you okay?" Tanong ni Kai.
"Yeah, masakit lang sa paa but I can endure the pain naman."
"Huh? Bakit?" Nakatingin lang ako sakanya.
"Your feet hurts, right? Hubarin mo na muna. Dadamayan kita. Sabay tayong mag papaa." He pointed my feet with his fingers as a sign for me to remove my shoes.
"Akin na nga." He knelt to the floor and carefully removed my shoes. He held my shoes as we enter the last room for our campaign.
"Thank you.
Wala akong gusto sayo, 'no. Amfeeling mo naman."
Parang gusto kong sumabog...at magsalita...ng masasamang words...
