EPILOGUE:
THE WEDDING

ECHO HAD NEVER BEEN so nervous. After much arguing with both Rosalie and Alice for her wedding, they had finally convinced Echo to wear a white dress. It was a simple dress. It was off the shoulders and decorated with lace. It reached the floor, hiding the plain heels she was wearing underneath. There was something that made the dress fit Echo's personality perfectly, but no one knew what it was.

"Are you sure about this dress? I just-"

"It looks perfect, Echo." Bella told her sister, giving her a reassuring smile. Echo looked at her and then over to the other two vampires that were in the room. The two girls gave her a nod.

"And I thought you were bad on your wedding day." Echo mused, looking down at her feet. Bella let out a small laugh before leading her sister over to Alice and Rosalie. Alice did her makeup, giving it a natural look seeing as the Swan girl didn't like the stuff all that much. Rosalie did her hair in slight waves that managed to make her look ten times prettier.

"I never thought I'd see the day where you'd wear white." Echo turned her head at the sound of her father's voice. She smiled at him.

"Yeah, you and me both." Echo chuckled.

"Guess this means you're officially moving out?"

"I should've done it a long time ago, dad." Echo gently told them. He embraced her in a gentle hug, not wanting to get yelled at by Alice or Rosalie for their hard work.

"Never thought I'd see the day you get married." Echo was surprised when she heard her mother's voice. Renée entered the room and her eyes immediately teared up when she saw her oldest child. "You look absolutely gorgeous, sweetheart."

"Thank you, mom." Echo smiled.

"Well," Alice clapped her hands together. "We better get going. We'll see you walking down the aisle." Everyone left except for Charlie and Bella.

"Don't let her nerves get a hold of her." Bella told her father. She offered Echo a gentle and reassuring smile before exiting the room. Charlie smiled at her before holding out his arm. Echo chuckled before hooking her arm with his. She was tapping her fingers against her dress as her nerves continued to rise. Charlie glanced at her before nudging her side.

"Stop it. You look great, Echo. There is no need to be nervous." Echo caught her fathers eyes. He gave her a reassuring nod as well as a smile. And then, the doors were opened and her contacted brown eyes found Carlisle's gold ones, and just like that her nerves and all of her worries melted away. As she made her way toward him, Carlisle couldn't help but realize how beautiful Echo looked in white. How beautiful she was in general. And now, she was officially going to be his wife. From now until forever. And he could never be thankful.

His children all took notice of how their adoptive father looked so happy in that moment. All of them shared looks with one another, and that's when they knew: they were going to be okay. Their family was officially completed. Charlie handed Echo over to Carlisle, who gently took her hand in his. She looked up at him, and a smile fell over her face.

Everyone sat down as the minister started saying his words. They repeated after him and finally, they both said "I do." And when they kissed, Echo couldn't help but smile. She had finally got the happy ending that she thought she would never receive.

"I love you." Carlisle told her. Echo's smile widened as she whispered those words right back to him.

"I love you too."
