The Coffee Shop

Chapter 1

My name is Michelle Turner I've just moved to down town of Toronto in an apartment building, I live on my own since the rent here isn't too expensive so I didn't need a room mate. It's a really nice neighbourhood pretty quiet at least so I can have time to myself. Now that I have settled into my new place I'm trying to look for a job near by after that's convenient to where I live hopefully I'll find something simple to do. 

I already miss my family but at least I'm able to be on my own now with more freedom. I call my parents daily since I moved since I'm an only child they always want to check on me see how I'm doing. On Monday I wake up to start my day then check to see what I need to buy for groceries. Looks like I'll need to go shopping most of my fridge is empty sigh luckily there's a No Frills not too far from the apartment building. 

I go out to buy everything what I need for the week then come back home putting everything away. I have rice with vegetables for lunch trying to stay healthy as much as possible since I'm living on my own. I'll be planning on going to the gym soon once I've found a job so I can pay off everything after. Once the food is ready I enjoy it then have some dessert after I start cleaning up around the apartment. 

When everything is cleaned up I decide to take a walk around my neighbourhood for a little bit to have some fresh air. I go out looking around see what's there for stores hopefully they're hiring, I don't see anything much besides other apartment and office buildings sigh. I go back to the apartment then go to the balcony to sit down for a little while enjoying the view. After that it's time for dinner I have fish and lentils so good, then call my parents I tell them how much I miss them they say they miss me a lot too awe. 

I tell them I'll try to visit them this week once I find a job to get interviewed at they say that's alright. They hope I'll find something near by eventually to pay for everything. Then after it's time for bed I end the call heading to my room it's quite big at least. Not bad for a one bed room apartment since it's just me here after I'm in my pyjamas I brush my teeth going to sleep. 

The next day I wake up kind of early have some breakfast and coffee then go on my computer to see what places are near by for jobs something simple. I check out if there's any Starbucks near by apparently there is one it's on the next block 10 mins away from my apartment building awesome !.
