Things become interesting here after since it's the start of the new year in this part of the story.
Shawn and I have been together for two years now then with us moving in together three months ago I'm truly happy. We're having a party with both of our families to celebrate into the new year ah.
We're going out to lunch today first at Jack Astor's one of our favorite restaurants Shawn says he has a surprise for me after I wonder what it could be. We have breakfast as usual then coffee and do some cleaning up around the apartment after that we start getting ready to leave, Shawn helps me as usual to put my jacket on as usual what a gentleman and gives me a kiss. We hold hands going down to the underground parking lot he opens the door for me helping me into his jeep then runs back to the drivers side.
We put our seatbelts on Shawn gives me a kiss and puts his hand on my leg then starts driving smiling a lot. Once we reach the restaurant we hold hands walking in we ask for a booth it's not busy today which is great. After we get a spot we're handed the menus I decide to get the Asiago bow tie pasta with chicken, Shawn gets a chicken burger with salad then we enjoy each other's company talking with each other.
We try to draw on the table something random which is fun Shawn says since we've been together for two years then when the new year begins it'll be two and a half after since we've been together. Then he suddenly gets up saying how he knows how much he loves me and how he truly cares about me that he knows he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. I look at him in shock with my hand over my mouth he gets down on one knee taking out a ring asking me will I marry him ? I tell him yes absolutely yes standing up kissing him with tears in my eyes !!

Shawn holds me tightly with tears in his eyes also saying how much he's in love with me that he wants me for life he can't wait for us to start a new life together where we can move in together into a nice house awe. We sit down holding each other's hand across the table the ring shining under the light smiling at each other he gives my hand a kiss I smile at him a lot.
The new year is turning out to a great start already I'm truly happy :D. After that our food arrives it's so good we enjoy our lunch then have a brownie for dessert sharing it then Shawn pays and we leave holding hands happily. When we get into the jeep to go back home Shawn says we can tell the news to our families tonight at the party I say yeah it'll be the perfect time to tell everyone. Then he smirks at me saying now that we're engaged we're going to be awake all night we can have more fun being intimate damn this guy is always horny I swear haha.
I tell him yeah we can smirking back at him squeezing his shoulder he still smirks at me saying we can also have a lot of fun right now we have plenty of time before the party starts for the night. I say sure we quickly rush back to home Shawn basically carries me halfway to the entrance of our apartment on our floor then pushes the door open and closes it kissing me hungrily.
