Hey, everyone! Thank you for choosing to read this story. I just want to quickly explain a few things:
♡ TRIGGER WARNING// Mention of assault, child abuse, and suicide. Please be aware that there will be suggestive language regarding racism and homophobia, but consider the time period of this story (1940's). These plot points serve a greater purpose that will initiate a discussion, and it will make sense as the story goes on.
♡ After School is separated into two parts. Each part will have chapters within it, and both parts will be in this book (for example, 1.2 means part 1 chapter 2).
♡ The fact that After School has two parts doesn't mean the second part is a sequel. It's all one story in one book, like IT for example. It's just easier for me to divide the story into two parts for the sake of the plot.
♡ This story is written in Canadian English, so the grammar structure will be different from American and British English. Also, it's important to note that 1940's slang will be used in the dialogue occasionally. If there's any word or phrase you don't understand, feel free to ask me and I'll gladly let you know!
♡ This book has been completed on November 12, 2020. It has officially completed editing on August 2, 2021.
