Elena collapsed to her knees in front of her twin as she breathed in relief and fear. "Oh, God, Matt." Elena sobbed as she grabbed his hand and Maddie breathed out stressfully. "You feeling that weight lifting off your chest? That's joy. Because your friend isn't dead. That's emotion, Elena. That's humanity." Damon explained and Maddie watched as her twin started breaking down.

"You're gonna be ok." Damon stated as he kneeled in front of his girlfriend, going to touch her arm when she pulled away. "No." She sobbed, getting up and walking backwards with her hands on her head. "Hey, it's okay." Stefan tried but Elena shook her head.

"No, no. What did I do? I almost killed him. Matt. I almost... and then Bonnie and Caroline. I just... no, no. I mean, the woman, the waitress. I actually killed that waitress. No! I killed... That waitress!" Elena exclaimed as she punched the window of Matt's truck until it shattered only for Maddie to make a fist in the air, causing Elena to stop moving.

"Hey. Elena. Hey. Hey. Look at me. Look at me. I know this stage, ok? The emotions are overwhelming you. You just have to focus on one thing, ok?" Stefan stated but the girl could only sob. "No, I can't. I can't." She cried and Maddie watched in sadness.

"You just find that one thing inside of you that makes you strong. It's in there. Just latch on to it. Channel everything you're feeling into that one emotion. Find the thing inside of you that makes you want to live. Elena, let it in. Let it in. That's good. That's it. That's it. Just breathe it in. Blow everything else out. That's good. That's good." Stefan said as Maddie released her spell on the older Gilbert twin as Elena broke down before falling silent with nothing but heavy breathing.

"You ok?" Damon questioned as Maddie walked over. "No. I'm not okay but I'll get better." Elena stated looking over to her younger twin who said nothing. She simply just grabbed Matt and sped him back to the Salvatore Boarding House.

Maddie sat on the counter with a cup of coffee in her hands as Elena walked in. After a talk with the Salvatore Brothers, she knew she needed to talk to her sister. "Hey." Elena said and Maddie looked over before rolling her eyes and sighing in boredom. "Oh, it's you." Maddie states flatly and Elena frowned.

"I wanted to thank you for helping me today. I know you didn't have to." Elena stated and Maddie places the mug down before sliding off the bench. "I didn't do it for you and I sure as hell didn't do it for me. I did it for her. Or him. I don't know yet." Maddie said as she placed a hand over her stomach and Elena gasped.

"You're pregnant?" The older Gilbert questioned and Maddie let out a small laugh. "I am. It's a long story, but I am. And I want them to know my home and the place I grew up, and in order to do that peacefully and happily, I need to fix whatever connections I have here. Staring with you, Damon and Bonnie." Maddie stated and Elena nodded as she walked over, placing a hand on Maddie's cheek.

"I know I hurt you. I know that I caused you pain and I'm sorry. I know I've been selfish and in doing so, I affected you. And you don't have to forgive me, you can send me away and ignore me for the rest of our existence, but I want to be a part of your life. I want to be a part of your kid's life. I want to be better." Elena pleaded and Maddie looked at her twin sister who had tears in her eyes, only for her own to well up as well.

"I don't forgive you yet. I can't do that and for many reasons. But I can move past it and we will start with a phone call once a week." Maddie compromised and Elena nodded, wiping her eye with a small smile. "Okay." The older Gilbert twin nodded.

Maddie held out her pinky in a pinky promise motion and Elena scoffed but linked hers on anyway before unlinking her pinky and pulling her younger twin into a hug. "I've missed you. And I know we will never be as close as we were, but I want to try. Goodnight." Elena stated, pulling away and Maddie nodded before watching her older twin make her way upstairs.

A/N: First of all, I fucked up the timelines so we just gonna pretend like Rebekah isn't in this ep, aight?

Second of all, if I made a Kol Mikaelson fanfic, should I start from the Rippah Stefan and Klaus, Texas kinda werewolf search or from when Kol is first introduced?

Third of all, I needed to bring TVD back into the story and in doing so, I need Maddie and Elena to at least have a mutual understanding. Also, I don't have many problems with Elena in S5-S6, she's chill.

Of course, that being said, this kid's favourite Aunts are and will always be Rebekah, Lydia, Malia and Freya. And Caroline's the godmother, but we been knew.

And yes I already have the name for the child. And yes I already have the gender. And yes my Pinterest page is full baby things so if anyone were to go into my Pinterest they might think I'm a teen mom or sum.
