Ria and her team organized again a wedding, Twice this year, and sixth event They've done for until the second quarter of the year. They still have a lot of works to do since they were booked for two major events until december and small events in between that they can accommodate.
"Iba talaga basta maraming friends ma'am no?" natatawang sabi ni Cherry habang nakapalibot ang tingin sa paligid ng reception venue. The event already ended but there were still family and friends remained to chitchat.
At kaya nasabi yun ni Cherry ay dahil ang first wedding na ginawa nila early this year was the colleague of the groom. Pareho silang nagpa book last year with different dates and set-up.
They're already packing up at inaayos ang mga gamit na dinala. It's quite late pero dahil sa garden area lang ng bahay ng groom's family ginanap ang venue, their vehicles are on standby near the gate kaya hindi hassle sa kanila.
She already had settled the final payment to the family kaya tumutulong na siya sa mga regular and on-call staffs niya.
Ria helped with the linens, removing and folding it back to the storage boxes. Meron silang checklists of materials na dinala at siya din dapat nilang dala paalis. Pinagtulungan nila ni Cherry ang malaking box na itulak palabas ng driveway patungo sa sasakyan nila when finished. And when they reach the vehicle, someone from behind them offered help.
"That's heavy, let me help you ladies." pareho silang napalingon ni Cherry at nagulat dahil sa lalaking may malawak na ngiti na kumuha ng kanilang bitbit at Isinakay sa sasakyan. "Oh, there you go!"
"Thank you sir. Napaka Gentleman nito naman ho!" kinikilig pang sabi ni Cherry.
But Ria can't look at the guy directly. There's something in his stares that says he knew something about her. Those meaningful Smiles and stares he gave her.
It was the guy from the first wedding. He's also wearing a coat and tie with the color motif of the wedding. That very same guy, that gave her feeling of something but decided to ignore. Pero hindi maikakaila na nagbibigay ito ng malaking impact sa kaniya for that two times of encounter.
"Thank you sir!" She utters after getting back to her senses.
"Welcome!" After he said that ay pumasok na muli ito sa loob ng garden where the after party is quitely happening.
"Aie, grabe! Ang gwapo ni sir sa malapitan. Gentleman at mabango pa. Kapag nanligaw yun sakin, oo agad sagot ko kahit 1st day pa lang." napasunod silang dalawa sa likuran nung guest na tumulong sa kanila.
And the memory of that naked man in her dreams played in her mind, kaya naipilig nito ang ulo sa naisip. Buti na lang at hindi nakita ni Cherry ang biglaang reaction niya.
"Pero alam niyo ma'am, may kamukha siya. Hindi ko lang maalala kung sino o saan ko nakita. Pero feeling ko familiar siya sa akin."
"The man of your dreams?" tukso niya sa assistant.
"Aie, baka nga ma'am. Hihihi!"
Napailing na lang ako sa sinabi ni Cherry. Matapos ayusin yung storage box ay bumalik uli kami sa loob dahil sa matagal na oras na kinain ng pagchi chismis namin.
But she can't stop wondering who was that guy? Bakit parang sa paraan ng pagtitig nito ay kilala siya when she don't remember knowing him?
