Choosing to react.

Anthony walks with a gait full of confidence he doesn't deserve. He leers at Odette and Ethan grits his teeth. He gives a salutation with a salacious articulation. Ethan wants to beat the smirk off his face. Ethan feels as if he is the subject of some psychological study in self control.

Anthony touches Odette's arm. His touch is so cold it burns her. Remembered images of furious, violent collisions of flesh flash through her eyes. It scares her, That she not only let him do those things to her, but that she begged it of him so many times. That she needed someone to treat her like she treats herself. That she almost tainted Ethan in a sick attempt at reliving it.

She tells Anthony they have to go and she drags Ethan away. Anthony smirks. He thinks he's getting away. There is nothing more pleasurable than knowing you can break someone and they'll always come back for more.

Drew watches. He knew he had to bring Anthony into the picture to break up Ethan and Odette. He follows them outside and with his headlights turned off he follows them back to the beach house.

Drew is going to be there to pick up the misshapen pieces of the girl he needs to possess.
