Pool Party One Shot

Lena and Kara show up to a pool party and instantly regret their fight. This is a few months after Lena figured out Kara was Supergirl.

Loving Lena was the hardest thing in the world for me because it hurt me so much when she left. All I wanted to do was hug her and tell her how sorry I am but unfortunately, I know she's better off without me.

I was sitting next to Nia by the pool and sunbathing. The sounds of soft music in the background, people chattering away and people splashing about in the pool.

It was peaceful, as I basked in the warmth spreading over my skin by the sun I couldn't help but think about Lena. Rao, why can't I get her out of my head?

Feeling annoyed I stand up and walk towards the food table. I pick up some chips and dig in. Just when I was about to sit down again I saw her...

There she was in a bikini, hair in a cute bun and Sam around her arm. It was Lena, The CEO was in a calm mood and was saying hello to everyone before her gaze landed on mine. Our eyes locked green meeting blue, the world froze for a few seconds before I was pulled out of my trance by cold water being thrown over me.

I gasp and stand up immediately looking at Mon-El who was struggling to hold back his laughter. "Mon-El!" I yell at him.

Lena's POV:

I was so entranced by Kara that when our gaze broke I had to take a deep breath. I really missed her these past couple months. I look over at Kara over to see her half-naked body dripping with water. I couldn't help but lick my lips and look her body up and down.

I watched as Kara instantly stood up and glared at Mon-El. I heard her yell at him before chasing him, picking him up with her super strength and jumping in the pool.

Kara emerges in slow motion, her face dripping wet, her hair now drenched and smooth, with a gorgeous grin on her face Kara burst out laughing as Mon-El struggles to dunk Kara.

Sam pulls me inside and we both grab some punch. The party is in full swing with people having fun all around. Sam and I move over to where Alex and Winn are.

The second Alex sees us she runs over and pulls us both into bear hugs. I hug her back and slowly she untightens her grip.

"Hey, guys how are you going?" Alex said in a cheerful voice.

"Well I was good until you squeeze the life out of me," I say chuckling.

"Sorry about that" Alex says bowing her head.

"It's alright we know you mean well," Sam says smiling

"Winn, how is the DEO?" I ask him, sipping my punch.

"There has been a lower rate of crime ever since Kara defeated CADMUS," Winn says looking over at the women in question.

"That's good to know," I say smiling at the thought of mother in jail.

I look over at Kara and see her drying off and sitting next to Nia. I didn't realise I was staring until Winn called my name.

"Lena, are you even listening to me? Lena!" Winn says snapping me out of my trance.

"Hhm yes what were you saying," I say mindlessly.

"What's the deal with you and Kara?" Winn says looking between us two.

"Nothing, unfortunately," I say sadly.

"You do know that it's your fault right?" Winn says curiously.
