Players don't change in a month. There, I've said it!

I'll admit...I went through this phase where I loved reading stories about they school's player and how he finds love. Honestly, I'm slightly over it now.

You're talking about this heartless guy that sleeps with girls left and right, he kisses one girl before school and makes out with another in class, just to have a third girl sitting on his lap basically eating his face at lunch...

... then comes this innocent little nerd. The wallflower, the nobody. The one that goes to the library at lunch and sits at the front of the class.

They meet and he is knocked off his feet, entranced by her beauty (that he never noticed until she spilled her lunch on him) and suddenly, at the snap of the author's fingers, he doesn't notice any other girl, doesn't get tempted by all the advances and is completely out of rhythm because of a girl that has never had a boyfriend or, according to her, been complimented flirting with the biggest player in the school.

No no and no.

Of course it is possible for him to learn to love, but it will be a process and a decision to stop playing the field on his end. Not a chapter 1 to chapter 2, look his character got developed, whoop-dee-doo.

Also, it's highly unlikely for him to be very affected by her attempts of flirting, because he's used to it. Maybe latet he'll get unraveled because he doesn't understand the feelings, but if he gets giggly and nervous at first sight, then he's not the big player he thinks he is.

Lastly, the girl is unrealistic. She keeps het cool, despite all his advances and flirts like a pro, often wondering how she did that afterwards.

I wonder too.

She's the shy wallflower. He's likely to leave he a flustered mess and she won't have the guts to tease and flirt until a bit later.

She's not even a student at the academy of flirting, she'll definitely not become the teacher just because the player is glaring down at her.

Case closed.
