Chapter 15

Adrien smiled at her and nods. Marinette looked back down at Nathaniel and nodded, "Yes, I'll marry you."

Nathaniel smiled as he put the ring on her finger and stood. Marinette smiled back at him as they hugged and Nathaniel spoke, "I can't wait to get married."

Marinette hummed as she spoke, "Me neither."

Emma looked up at her dad and tugged on his arm, "Dad, are you okay?"

Adrien looked down at Emma and smiled, "I'm fine, perfect even."

Emma tilted her head slightly in ceoncern, "You look a little sad."

Adrien shook his head, "It's your party go enjoy it."

"But..." Emma trails off and sighs. "Okay," With that Emma went to go find her friend.

Not to long after Emma's party was over. People had already left but Marinette and Nathaniel since they wanted to help clean up.

Marinette walked up to Adrien and asked, "Adrien, what's wrong?"

Adrien shook his head and smiled, "Nothing."

Marinette sighed, "You have those eyes."

Adrien chuckled, "It's just that... I have to clean up and I'm tired, that's all. You should head home now."

"Right um... Tomorrow Nathaniel, Nino, Alya, Nathaniel and me are going to the park, you and Emma should join us," Marinette offered with a small smile.

Adrien nodded liking the idea, "We will."

Marinette hugged him, "You're a great dad, Adrien."

Adrien hugged her back, "Thank you."

Nathaniel looked over at them and spoke, "Marinette it's time to go."

"See you tomorrow, I'm sorry," Marinette pulled away and went to Nathaniel. The two helped hands as they left together.

Gabriel walked outside the mansion and looked at his son as he sighed, "Is something troubling you?"

Adrien looked at his father and nodded, "Yes."

Gabriel hummed, "What is it?"

"Marinette," Adrien responded.

"Emma's mother?" Gabriel asked.

Adrien nodded, "Yes, she's getting married with Nathaniel."

"You should have stopped it or you can just sto-"

"I'm not stopping her wedding! I want her to be happy."

"Okay, but you will be miserable, for the rest of your life," Gabriel says before going back inside the mansion.

Adrien sighed as he looked down, "I know, I know..."
