Alone

Chapter 3

Adrien growls after hearing the loud sound, "An akuma, now?"

The akumatized victum came into the room and exclaimed, "Where is Chloe!?"

Emma stood from her spot wanting to be brave and protect her aunt, "Stay away from my aunty Chloe!"

The akumatized victum turned her attention to Emma and smirked evily, "Aw, what a cute little girl, since you want to protect that brat you shall go down with her!" She swings her sword towards Emma.

"No!" Adrien yelled as he got up from his seat and ran to Emma. He got to her before Emma could get hit only causing him to earn the hit.

"Daddy!" Emma yelled once Adrien groaned in pain and saw that he was bleeding.

"I-I'm okay p-princess," Adrien tried to hide his pain from his daughter and looked over at Nino, "N-Nino take her s-somewhere s-safe."

Nino nods and takes Emma from Adrien, "Be careful, don't get killed." He says before running out to go hide with the small girl.

Adrien was kinda forced to tell Nino that he was Chat since he needed someone to take care of her when akuma came. He was glad Nino was there for him since he really needed someone for help.

After the akuma attack Adrien was now heading for his class. Plagg looked at Adrien and came out making him stop walking.

"Adrien, maybe you should go home and clean that wound," Plagg says as he crosses his little arms over his chest.

Adrien looks at his wound before looking back at Plagg, "I'll be fine, just hide and let's go back."

"Fine," Plagg sighs before doing as he was told.

Adrien began to walk back to class once Plagg was hidden. He walked and held his side as it was in pain but he didn't want to make his daughter worry more so now he had to head back to class to see her.

Marinette had happened to be walking as well. She was not really paying any attention to her surrounding and bumps into Adrien by accident.

Adrien looked at the person who had bumped into in before he spoke, "I'm sorry Marinette."

Marinette sighed and looked up at Adrien, "It's fine, I wasn't paying attention either."

The two teenagers stayed quiet and then Adrien spoke. "Why did... Why did you leave me?" He asked.

Marinette looked away from the boy and scoffed, "That non of your buisness."

Adrien raised an eyebrow and kept his eyes on the shorter girl, "It kinda is."

Marinette looked back at Adrien with anger and growled, "Fine, I left because..." She trailed off trying to figure out what she was going to say. "Because I didn't love you. I only used you to get to Nathaniel jealous. I was only in love with him but I was never in love with you, Adrien."
