Chapter 14

It was now the next day and everyone who was close to the Agrest family was there. Adrien was just glad his daughter would hopefully have fun on her special day because she deserved it.

Marinette had spotted Adrien sitting on his own so she went over to him, "Hey, what's wrong?"

Adrien looked at Marinette and shook his head, "Nothing, just thinking."

"About?" Marinette asked.

Adrien thought real quick before responding, "Um... How I have to run my dad's business?"

Marinette hummed and nodded, "Let's cheer you up, yeah?"

"Well I don't kno-" Adrien was cut off.

"Come on!" Marinette exclaimed as she grabbed his hand and pulled him up as she stood as well.

Adrien looked down at Marinette in surprise, "W-What are you doing?"

"Let's dance, it's always fun and always makes you feel better."

"But Nathaniel."

"He wouldn't mind."

"Fine."

After a couple of hours passed and everyone was still having fun. Everyone was dancing. Emma and Clarissa were dancing together with big smiles on their faces.

"This is fun," Clarissa said.

"It really is," Emma responded.

Clarissa looked at Emma and smiled brightly, "Your so much fun."

Emma returned the smiled, "I can say the same about you."

Clarissa grabbs Emma's hands and starts spinning. This action made Emma blush but they were both having so much fun.

Clarissa giggled, "This is fun."

Emma nodded, "Your right."

"Your amazing," Clarissa said.

"You are too," Emma responded.

"Attention everyone, Nathaniel has something important to say," Nino said into the mic as he was at the dj.

Nino hands Nathaniel the mic and Nathaniel took it clearing his throat before speaking, "Marinette, I love you, very much." Marinette looked at her boyfriend and Adrien gently pushed her forward. With that Nathaniel takes her hand and kneels down, "And I really need to ask you a big question."

"Nathaniel..." Marinette whispered as she looked down at her boyfriend.

Nathaniel takes out the small box with a ring and opens it, "Will you, Marinette Dupan-Cheng, marry me?"

"Umm..." Marinette trails off as she looked over at Adrien.
