"Kianna, you're late" bungad sakin ni coach. Nagovertime kasi yung last subject ko kaya I had to run from our building to the gym. Malayo layo din sya.
"Sorry, coach" I apologized. Nagstretching na din ako before joining the team.

"Kianna, please stay after training" sabi ni coach habang nagcocool down na kami. Light training lang ginawa nami ngayon kaya maaga aga din natapos.
Kinakabahan akong lumapit kay coach. It might be because nalate ako kanina?
"Coach im sorry for being late-" naputol agad sasabihin ko.
"No Kianna, its not about your tardiness" coach said habang natatawa. Thats a relief! Akala ko papagalitan nanaman ako hahahaha
"You are invited to train at a special volleyball camp. They are scouting for potential players to fill in the roster for U23" honestly, Nagulat ako! I mean, thats the national team diba?
"When is it coach?" I wouldn't let go of this opportunity. Minsan lang to noh!
"Starting next saturday. During your christmas break. 1 week camp sya. Are you taking this opportunity?" Coach even laughed while asking. He knows me too well. Alam nyang kukuhanin ko to! Im always the risk taking type eh
"Yes naman coach!" I said. Coach congratulated me and sent me home.

I woke up early for the training camp. Its our 1st day of christmas break at ihahatid ako ni dad sa Manila. Doon kasi yung venue ng training.
"Alright. Everybody line up and introduce themselves" sabi ni Coach Ramil. Coach of our national team. I looked at everyone and there are 12 of us. I was infront of this girl that caught my attention. She was very familiar eh. Tall, has a cute smile, chinita as well. Beside me was Jaja and Dawn. I already knew them.
"Hi Im Bea De Leon from Poveda" pakilala nung chinita girl na tinuturo ko kanina. Kaya pala sya familiar. Maybe nakalaban na namin sya. Isa isa silang nagpakilala. Theres Alyssa, Dawn, Jaja, EJ, Den, Kim and Bea. Sila lang tanda ko eh.
"Im Kim Kianna Dy from DLSZ" pakilala ko.
"Kianna" I heard Bea whisper my name. Whisper padin ba sya? I heard her from a meter away hahaha
"Ok everyone drills muna tayo. Kung sino yung katapat nyo, sya yung buddy nyo" said Coach Ramil. Great. Im stuck with Bea hahahaha
"Next time you whisper, try to not let anyone hear it. Whisper sya diba?" I said in a joking tone at Bea. Mukha syang nagulat before realizing that im joking
"Right. Noted po hahaha" she said and we continued our drills.
We were done with our training at katatapos ko lang din magshower. I was looking for my water bottle. Uuuugh I misplaced it again!
"Are you looking for this?" Biglang sabi ni Bea while holding my water bottle. I nodded as a reply
"Tsk. Next time kasi ingatan mo hahaha" she joked as she was handing the bottle to me and walked away. I noticed that there was a post it that came with it.

I went to the hotel kung saan kami nagsstay. Kaya pala 2 beds ang nakaprovide sa room. Siguro this morning lang sya dumating. Pagbukas ko ng room, I saw luggage sa kabilang bed. At mukhang may tao sa balcony.
"Yes, mom. I just finished training. Yep I'll make sure to eat. Ok mom, love ya" I heard Bea talking over the phone. She went inside and her face lit up when she saw me
"Hi. Have we seen before?" She jokingly said
"Maybe not?" I said
"Oh so you're not the forgetful lady that left her water bottle?" She said and I rolled my eyes. I made my way to my bed
"Hey miss sungiiiiiiiit. Since we're roomies for a week, mind introducing ourselves? Besides from our names and where we came from" pangungulit nya while I was scrolling through instagram .
"Sure. You go first" I said without looking at her.
"Ok. So im Isabel Beatriz De Leon. Some call me BDL. Im a middle blocker from Poveda. 17 years old and single" sabi nya. I looked at her with a questioning look
"Do you really have to mention that your single?" I asked.
"Uhm I thought you might ask?" She said while pouting. She looked like a kid begging for candy. I rolled my eyes again.
"Tch. Wala na ngang mata nagagawa pang umirap" I heard Bea whisper
"Whispering is useless when I can still hear youuuuu" I said teasing her.
"Anyways, Im Kim Kianna Dy. Some call me KKD. I came from DLSZ. Im an opposite hitter and I love cookies" I said. I can still feel her stare. I looked up and met her eyes
"So are you single?" She said while hugging her pillow. Grabe she looks like a siopao or a baby that was put into a giant body
"And why are you interested?" I raised my eyebrow
"Well I informed you about my status. So I was curious about yours. Duh" she said. Its her turn to roll her eyes
"Crush mo ko no?" I asked while challenging her. Her eyes suddenly widened kung may ilalaki pa yon hahaha
"Hoy hindi ha. Wag ka ngang feeling dyan" she said denying hahaha
"Sabi mo yan ha. Yes im single pa" I answered and she suddenly sat up.
"Pa?" She asked while her eyebrows are almost touching each other hahaha she really is a baby eh
"Well madami kasing nanliligaw back in Zobel. Though, I like this guy. Pero he is more of a boy bestfriend" kwento ko sakanya. She seems very interested ngayon ah
"Kwento ka pa dali" sabi nya. She was still hugging the pillow and was looking at me eagerly. As if nanonood sya ng horror movie
"Well yung boy bestfriend ko na yon, he is super caring. Lahat talaga ng tungkol sakin alam nya. He knows that I dont like chocolates. I only eat Cadbury. Tapos I love gummies. Especially the fruity ones. Like Gushers. I also really love sunflowers. He would give me sunflowers to cheer me up. Super sweet nya no?" Kwento ko sakanya. Super nakangiti pako. I mean, he really is caring and boy bestfriend ko sya pero hanggang dun lang yon.
"Whats your type ba? I mean, why not him?" Bea asked. She was now chewing on some snicker bars. Tch this girl has an appetite. Its almost lunch time pero kumakain pa ng ganon. Baka mamaya di na sya makakain ng lunch. Shit why do I care?
"Helloooooo Earth to Kiannaaaa" natauhan ako when Bea was waving her hand already
"Ha? Ah my type? I'll tell you when I want to" sabi ko. I stuck my tongue out, teasing her. And faced the other side of the bed and continued scrolling through IG
"tch. she can just say na ako type nya" Bea whispered again. Gosh. Bubulong na nga lang rinig ko pa?
"I can hear youuuuu" I said aloud. She thinks na di ko naririnig? Well she is obviously failing.
"Whatever. Its already 12pm na. Wanna eat lunch out?" Asked Bea. I felt her standing up and getting ready
"Why are you asking me?" Pagsusungit ko sakanya. I really like messing with her hahahaha. She is super cute kasi kapag naaasar
"Uhhhhh maybe because you're the only person here that I really know? Besides, anong kakainin mo if nandito ka lang? Gosh Kianna ha nakakahalata nako" sabi ni Bea and she rolled her eyes. Eto talagang babaeng to. Gosh.
"Fine. Im going with you" I stood up and got ready. She was at the balcony to get fresh air daw while I was dressing up.
