Chapter 26

*August in MM*

Payton was asleep in the bed, she had just got in from her flight at 6. It was about 8 in the morning and she was still asleep. She planned on staying in today because of the rain for the next two days, so she just was gone stay at home.

Her phone began to ring causing her to open her eyes. She sigh before rolling over grabbing it off the nightstand. August was coming over to chill with her for the next two days since he wasn't planning on doing nothing.

"Hello" she answered Amarin's call.

"Sis, what you doing" Amarin asked and Payton sigh.

"Sleeping Amarin" she told her and Amarin smacked her teeth.

"Good, so listen I know you don't go nowhere when it rains and it going to be raining for the next three days which means your going to be home right" Amarin asked and Payton sigh shaking her head.

"Yes I'll watch the kids Amarin" she told her, she already knew that's what she wanted.

"Yay, so you know school is out for fall break so you don't even have to take them to school" Amarin said and Payton sigh.

"You saying that like its good news" Payton said and Amarin started laughing.

"So Asia is spending today and tomorrow with her friend Angela, all you gotta do is pick her up Wednesday, so technically you only babysitting for two" Amarin said and Payton was glad to knew about her great weekend.

"What y'all doing for these three days, that's what I wanna know" Payton asked and Amarin chuckled a bit.

"Making another baby" she said and Payton hung up the phone.

"That girl stupid" she said tossing her phone to the bottom of the bed.

As soon as she closed her eyes there was a knock on the door. She smacked her teeth opening her eyes.

"You can't be fucking serious" she said and there was another knock on the door.

She threw the covers off her and got up. She slid her slippers on and walked out of her room. Marco wasn't downstairs which mean he was upstairs sleeping. She unlocked the door and opened it.

"AUNTY" Amari yelled hugging her legs, she had to caught herself.

"I just got off the phone with Amarin, how y'all get here so fast" she asked Amari before looking up to see Pierre with Junior in his arms.

Although they were cordial they wasn't back to talking how they usually would. Payton was tired of arguing with him about the same thing, so she just decided to not talk to him.

"Well that explains it" Payton said and Marco came running down the stairs.

"MATCO" Amari ran towards him with her cup in her hand, she couldn't yet pronounce his name.

"Morning" Pierre said walking up on the porch.

"Morning" she said letting them in, it was pouring outside.

"You know you gotta p-" before Pierre could finish she cut him.

"Yep, I already know" she said grabbing Junior who reached for her.

"Alright then, Amari come give me some love" he said turning around to see her and Marco hugging.

"ok daddy" Amari said sitting her cup down running towards Pierre.

She gave Pierre a hug and kiss before going back to play with Marco. He kissed junior on the cheek, he sat all their bags down. He left and Payton looked over at Amari.
