I woke up and seen my mom in a wheelchair.
I sat up and my wrist was handcuffed to the metal bar of the gurney. I seen my mom crying and wiping her tears away with a tissue

Y-where's Mattia?!
She was still crying

Mom-he's in surgery. They don't know if they can save him. They said the bullet had something laced around it. But they don't know what
Y-where's the rest?
Mom-their in the hallway
She yelled for them and they ran in

They all looked down and I seen Alejandro and Kairi crying

He looked at me for a second and I felt a tear drop down my cheek and I wiped it quickly. The doctor came in and told us Mattia was in the next room and they walked to them
Y-let me out of the handcuffs
Doctor-your still healing. And you fought back the nurses ma'am

He walked out the room
I got mad so I grabbed the handcuffs and pulled them as fast as I could and it broke. I got up and grabbed my mom and wheeled her into Mattia's room. There was tubes all around him and Alejandro and Kairi were balling

We heard the heart monitor go go slowly and after a while it stopped beeping. The doctors didn't do anything and they turned the heart monitor off and took out the tubes

Kairi-no! what are you doing?! Help him !
Doctor-we've done all we can
Kairi-bullshit! Help him! He's my best friend! He can't die!
Alejandro tried grabbing but Kairi pushed him
Kairi-no. Don't touch me! He has to survive! He can't die.
He ran to Mattia and grabbed his face shaking him
Kairi-MATTIA WAKE UP! Please WAKE UP! I can't lose you man! I-I can't lose you man! Don't leave me! Please Mattia. Don't leave. He was hitting his chest but mattia wasn't moving
He laid his head down on Mattia's chest and Alejandro grabbed him and hugged him
Ale-he's my best friend too Kai!

The doctor took everyone out and I managed to sneak back into his room. I seen him there laying on the gurney. Seeing his life less body.And I couldn't help but cry. I walked up to his cold body and grabbed his hand

Y-it should have been me who got shot. Should have been me who died. Why did you have to run after them Mattia? my voice cracking. I never got to tell you this and now I never will. But since the day I met you. You haven't left me alone. After all the times I told you to leave me alone. The times I told you not to come in my neighborhood, you did anyway, you never left. You tried so hard being my friend that you wanted to join a gang? I don't know what you see in me, but your just like Emily. You never gave up on trying to be my friend. I hate showing people how I feel. Mattia you make me feel something. And now I won't be able to feel the same way. I haven't felt this horrible since Emily. I'm going to make sure to kill the son of bitch who killed you. I'm going take of your family. Make sure their okay. They may hate me for what happened to you but I promise I won't ever let anyone hurt them. I won't let a signal soul hurt your family. I'm sorry Mattia.
I leaned in and kissed him. I felt his cold lips on mine. I was hoping he'd kiss back like those movies. But this wasn't a movie. This was reality. This wasn't some dumb fairy tale. Hell, this was the opposite of a fairy tale. I felt a tear drop fall and land on his face. I looked at him and wiped the tear away. My hand was on his face and my thumb was moving up and done his cheek.
I heard the door open and I wiped my tears away quickly. I heard his mother scream and I tried not to cry
Y-I I'm sorry
I broke down
She ran and hugged me. I was confused as to why she was hugging me?
Mrs.Polibio-it's not your fault. He would talk about you everyday. Every time he would say your name or even think about you he had a smile on his face. He really liked you sweetie.
She said with her voice cracking and I hugged her tightly as she hugged back. I felt his dad and brother hug me as well. I left the room wiping my eyes and I seen everyone in my room crying.
They all looked at me in shock
Y-I'm gonna find them. And when I do I'm going to rip them apart limb from limp. Until they bleed to death. And I am so sorry that you lost Mattia Alejandro and Kairi
They ran to me and hugged me
Y-I need to get out this hospital
Mom-I'm leaving today aswell. I'll go get your papers and we'll leave
I nodded wiping my tears and grabbed my clothes and changed.....
