High School Endings

Chapter 4

He nodded "okay."

"I'm sorry I overreacted." I apologize

This is not how I wanted to start our trip

"Don't be I should of told you." He said

"I love you." I told him

He grabbed my hand reaching it up to his mouth kissing it.

"I love you too." He replied

He turned onto the highway and good thing there wasn't a lot of traffic so he just sped down the highway. All I did was just stare out the window because I was bored. I heard randy laugh and I turned my head towards him raising my eyebrow at him

"Why are you laughing?" I asked him smiling

"Because I know your bored and I think it's funny." He told me

"Well what am I suppose to do?" I asked him laughing "how much longer do we have?"

"Umm about 30mins." He said

I groaned

"Oh come on now stop complaining."

I sighed looking out the window again

"One tree, two tree, three tree, four tree, five tree, six tree, seven tree--" I started counting trees

"What are you doing?" Randy starting laughing hard

"Counting the trees." I said not ashamed of it

He continued to laugh "you sound like a five year old."

"I guess so." I shrugged my shoulders " eight trees, nine tree, ten tree, eleven tree, twelve tree."

"Your so weird." Randy said

"Yeah but you still love me." I implied

"Yeah I do alright."

I giggled

I just wanted this drive to be over with.

After me counting trees I managed to fall asleep. I was to bored and it made me tired.

"Naomi wake up." I heard randy whisper shaking me

I groaned moving a bit

He chuckled "come on babe we're here." Moving me again

This time I got up realizing he was right. I yawned getting out of the car observing the beautiful scenery. We were surrounded by trees and stood in front of me what a big wouldn't house and right in front of it was the lake. It was beautiful. I walked towards the front entrance waiting for randy to come to the door. He eventually came with all our stuff. He opened the door and I walked in with my eyes opened. It was beautiful. It was all wood and there was a fireplace and a tv and everything!

"This is amazing." I whispered

"Yeah I know." I grabbed my stuff from him

"Here this way." Randy guided me

We went up they stairs into a hallway. There were like five rooms

"This." He said leading to what I think was the master room "is our room."

Omg it was elegant. It was big with a queen size bed with its own bathroom and a flat screen tv.

"Awesome." Is all I said

"Right." He chuckled

I put my stuff on the floor and plopped on the bed. It was so soft. Randy chuckled
