Okay so I'm going to skip episode four for a few reasons:
- It has a lot of filler scenes that aren't that important.
- It also has some triggering elements in it such as self harm, and even a suicide attempt that I just don't think I want to write.
So I'm just going to summarize the episode here:
Connor takes Maya to help treat her wound, yet she's still confused about Peter's secret. Connor leaves, and the Headmaster takes over, explaining Peter's backstory (him being bitten by a Pure Blood and his family being killed). Maya feels bad because she realizes Peter has been suffering alone for the past four years. Later, she overheard Connor talking to the Headmaster. They were considering moving Peter to the night class. Maya knew this was a bad idea because of Peter's hatred for vampires, and how it would turn out if he was surrounded by them 24/7. She leaves school the next day and visits the moon dorms, where she talks to Connor and tells him to keep Peter in the day class. Connor explains that he can't because Peter was bound to fall to a Level E. Connor claims that Peter cares for Maya and that Peter wouldn't want Maya to see him in that state. Disappointed, Maya goes back to the dorms to tell Peter the bad news, but instead-

She ends up having to stop Peter from shooting himself in the head with the Bloody Rose. Peter says that he would rather die than become a Level E, and after almost attempting to shoot himself, he claims that he wants Maya to be the one to kill him. He tells her it's not a crime to kill a vampire. When she refuses, Peter leaves. Maya finds him, hugs him from behind, and tells him that even if he's a vampire, she'll continue to stay by his side and be his ally.
So yeah that's basically it... so this chapter is actually based on episode 5.

Peter and Maya were now in the Headmaster's office. He had claimed there was a solution to Peter's intense thirst for blood. He had given Maya a special bracelet with a crest that matched the tattoo on Peter's neck.

I was debating on leaving the tattoo out, but it's actually and important aspect. The tattoo is important because marks the place where he was bitten by the Pure Blood. Every half blood has a different mark to show where they were bitten.
Now that that's explained, back to the story!
In order for the bracelet to function correctly, the Headmaster had Peter prick his index finger with the tip of a knife and drop some of his blood onto the bracelet. It began to glow, and seemingly absorbed the drop of blood. "This is an ancient spell, a method that the vampire hunters have been using for a long time to tame an unruly vampire," the Headmaster explained.
