I looked down at the book in my hand and groaned.

I needed to get this done or else my partner would never let me hear the end of it.

I unlocked the front door of my house and walked to my husbands office was.

"Hey babe," Nick looked up from the laptop in front of him and smiled. "Your home early."

His eyes shot down to the book in my hands and a wide grin stretched on his lips. "What's that?"

He knew exactly what it was.

"Shush it, I don't want to hear one word from you. Just sign it," I said throwing the book at him.

Nick caught it swiftly and laughed. "Who's it for?"

"Watson's wife, apparently she's a big fan," I rolled my eyes. "She finds it so romantic."

"Did you tell Watson that I was your first Watson and your first crime solving partner?" Nick asked at the mention of my partner.

"Why should I when you tell him every time you see him," I asked.

Nick laughed, standing up from his desk chair and coming towards me. He put his hands on my hips and pulled me towards him. "You're hot and badass, if I was Watson I'd want you too."

I rolled my eyes. "Well you already got me, remember?"

I held up my hand revealing my wedding ring.

He took my hand and kissed my ring finger. "And I thank my lucky stars for it every day. Now back to this book signing--"

I let out a groan.

Nick threw his head back in laughter. "Are you still mad that I switched our genders in my book?"

"Yes," I pouted my lip.

Nick wrote his story of how his ghost "Nichole" and me, the living "Evan", solved his attempted murder. To us it was very non-fiction, but to his audience it was very fiction. Trey was caught making a swim for it in the lake. Amelia broke down after interrogation. Mike was caught three days later, worried sick ghosts were following him.

The book blew up really fast, and was now the top selling book worldwide. They were even making a movie about it.

"Evan's the cool one, Nichole's too damsel in distress," I said.

Nick continued to laugh. "We both know you're a total badass. My hot secret agent wife."

"Yeah keep that in mind, buddy. I'll have you locked up for coughing the wrong way," I threatened.

"You know I don't mind the role play," he gave me a teasing grin before letting out a fake cough.

I rolled my eyes and shoved him away. "The book. I need it signed. I don't need to hear how Watson will risk his life for me, while I won't get my husbands autograph for him."

Nick smiled proudly as he went to sign the book.

"To..."

"Helena."

"To Helena, live for tomorrow and cherish yesterday. Love--"

"--Ahem."

Nick gave me quick grin. "Sincerely, Nick Leighton."

"That's better."

Nick closed the book and gave me a mischievous look.

"Now that that's over..." He held out his hands as if I was about to arrest him. "I remember coughing the wrong way."

I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "Last time we played the game I ended up with buns in the oven. Plural."

I put a hand on my growing stomach. Nick laughed before coming to stand in front of me, pulling me towards him. "Now we're just twice as lucky."

"You say that, wait until they're born," I let out a huff of air.

"I can't wait," he said earnestly. "With you, I can't wait for the next day."

I sighed and cupped his cheek. I had to go and marry a romantic. He wouldn't even let me be angry properly. "I love you."

"I love you too, forever."

Forever.
