LUCRECIA

i wish i could just blend in and stop thinking so much. how can i forget about her? just like i forgot about everything else.

shit, am i cold? is that what this is? corpses don't get cold..

"yoooo!" i heard carla yell, and i was right. when i looked up, i saw carla in front of a bunch of corpses, coming my way, in the rain.

carla held out her hand and i shook it before we hugged.

"what are you do-ing here?" i asked carla.

"bonies. they chased me out. came to find you. where is she?"

"we-nt hom-e."

carla sighed and put her hand on my shoulder. "you o-kay?"

"no." i said, my voice breaking.

carla removed her hand. "bitches, man. bonies look-ing for you."

i shrugged.

"and her." this made me look up at her.

"you start-ed some-thing," carla pointed to her head. "i saw... pictures. last night. memories. of my mom. summertime. field. of wheat. a girl."

"a dream."

"a dre-am?"

i nodded. "we're chan-ging."

"we are ?"

"we are," i nodded, "i have to t-ell he-r."

carla nodded and i looked at the rest of the corpses. "w-ill you h-elp?"

i lifted up the picture of irina. "h-elp ex-hume."

they all moaned in agreement.

"they s-aid 'fuck yeah.'" carla told me and i looked at he picture of irina and smiled.
