i gasped out "thank you" before getting back on my feet.
the run began again.
we came to a halt when we found ourselves surrounded by bonies.
we ran to an emergency door which when we opened, ly nearly fell out of, seeing as it led to a pool below us. far below us.
it's either be eaten, or jump. "it's over." i sighed.
"k-keep you safe," lu said, bringing me back to when we first met. "you'll be okay."
as the bonies got closer, lu spun us around so that she was closest to the water, one of her hands on my lower back and the other on my neck as we fell.
we fell, making a big, loud splash as we sunk to the bottom.
